I want to buy one of the Predakings being offered right now, but I'm stuck. I'd like some of your opinions on the quality, accuracy, and general fun level of the current not-Predakings. Be honest...I have no preference at this point, but would love some input from those who may have some of the figures already.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

THat's a good question. I think the answer involves the time I posted it and alcohol. HELP! MODERATORS!

MMC all the way. Unique Toys looks crappy and TFC is way too Hasbroish but not in a good way.

The only one I've got and plan on completing is MMC's Predaking.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

who could honestly say ? until all are complete , personally if there is a choice in this case more than one mmc gets my vote to pure awesomeness, it's all about the individual con modes imo , big , beastish and full of character , how collectors want some thing else escapes me . Yet to finalized but divebomb is my most looked forward to figure of the set he's just a unique figure alone .

I'm going with MMC myself. I'm actually doubling up on Feral Rex as I'm SO taken with it. I could have bought UT and TFC as well, but nether appeal to me in the way MMCs Feral Rex does.

It really depends what you want out of the figures.

If you want a strict translation of blocky G1 base figures into a gestalt with fairly modern engineering, you may want to take a look at UT's War Lord.

If you want something with huge amounts of playability, and don't mind a gestalt team leader who is much larger than the team's limbs, TFC Ares may be your boy.

If you want something more collector-focused, and figures that are solid all around in all 3 modes, then you will definitely want MMC's Feral Rex.

Personally, I'm in with Feral Rex. I love what they did with Terminus Hexatron, and Bovis is a magnificent figure. The combined proportions for Feral Rex just do it for me - all the pictures and test shots make Predaking out to be beefy and powerful, yet also sleek, streamlined, and integrated. I can't say I feel the same about War Lord or Ares.

MMC seems to be getting rave reviews. That's the one that I was looking at as well. I love the big, beefy, powerful look of the original combiner so something that can match that intimidation factor would be awesome. You guys think MMC does this? And what is the word on overall height?

Definitely leaning towards MMC. Now just trying to decide if the Causality not-Menasor combiner is worth it...LOL Still need to get not-Superion...damnit, I need more money.
