It has to basically expel bodily fluids all over this shotty attempt and contain NOT ONE (military propaganda, slapstick humor, sexism, racism, etc.) of the errors this first shotty attempt had. Only then can a series of Transformers movies stand a chance of being viewed as something respectful to this and future generations.

And Racist and Sexist? How!? Please, once again... if you can provide examples and state why it is the way you say it is, then I will at least consider this argument valid, otherwise it is one thing to say you didn't like the film, but to call it xenophobic, racist and sexist... it had a girl do some heroic things and save the boy too, so that's sexist? It depicted her ex-boyfriend as sexist, but that doesn't mean the movie was sexist... it was showing how dumb it is to be sexist.

as far as racist if you're going to pull the middle-eastern phone-operater card I must say... this is a very REAL depiction and they are commenting on how stupid phone support is these days, if that's what you're about to say.

So Xenophobic? Fear of the unknown? besides the humans fearing giant freaking robots invading.. what's wrong with that? isn't that the POINT of an invasion movie? So please ... details.

All I am saying is, if you're going to make an argument, back it up with source material or you're just barking at nothing.

im seriously convinced that some people are for one reason or another that against the movie they have run out of things to have a valid groan about, so they come up with stupid stuff like this. However, i fully accept that some people dont like the movie, even hating it doesnt bother me, just people who make nonesense arguments just to make themselves heard

How in the hell is a newborn baby that's in a movie for two minutes defined as "obnoxious" ? That's so far out there I can't even fathom that right now.

When Lennox's wife sayes "She doesn't do that she's a lady" about her baby daughter farting instead of laughing. Lennox's wife reminded me all too painfully of that dumb clueless blonde on "The View" who sits at the at the end of the table spitting out soundbites that republican pundits transmit to her pie hole via the stick up her a$$.

People, please continue to complain on the internet about this movie as I find most of the responses absolutely hilarious, pure comedy indeed and everyone will see where all of the whining gets them...absolutely no where because do you think the producers will care about the ramblings of the minority of a bunch of haters ?

Here's an idea, when the sequels come out just stay at home and pop a copy of the 1986 transformers movie into your dvd players, people at the theaters may appreciate the fact they got in a little quicker, I know I will.

Thank you Michael Bay for revitalizing this franchise!

That with the baby was nothing more then friendly talk between husband and wife, it's absolutely normal.

One of the funniest lines I have heard in a while, and yet so true. However I don't think the blond on the film who was on for about 20 seconds really acted like that. Also, people complain about the racist and sexist stereotypes, what about the greatest hacker in the world being a black man, or a mechanical grease monkey being a hottie from high school, I don't think those would fit the commonly associated norms of those two groups.

Also in a building full of military men, it was a woman that identifies the hacking code and dictates the correct course of action (take down the defense network).

Stick that in all your pipes and smoke it...

That and:

A high ranking black soldier who actually survives and gets to direct some aerial attacks.
Yeah the only 'black' Autobot died, but what about the only 'black' Decepticon? He's actually one of the few Cons who survived the film.

If anything, this film was racist to Chihuahuas. Why are those poor creatures always portrayed as spoilt little brats who act like they're six times larger?
