Thanks to Seibertronian zodconvoy, we learned that Entertainment Earth has started pre-orders for the KidRobot Transformers vs. GI Joe Vinyl figures and merchandise. These are supposedly very similar to the stuff released by Loyal Subjects and relatively in the same style of it.

Loved this series. I've managed to avoid (most) Transformers blind box stuff, but I'm all about these. They're just too cool.

Shame the 7" Megatron doesn't have the T-Rex head.

Man, I am ALL ABOUT that Wheeljack and Soundwave. I'm not usually a big proponent of non-transforming Transformers, but every once in a while something like this comes along and just makes me want.

Yeah that is a little weird. Although I am somewhat partial to the mental image of Megatron using his arm cannon to launch giant spiked energy-balls at his enemies, now that I think about it... :lol:

He had half his face blasted off by Snakeeyes as revenge for his face. He had it covered for the rest of the series.

Thank you for answering that for me. There's a lot going on in that panel and almost all of it makes me wonder why someone would choose it for their model.

Did he break a hip and dislocated a shoulder?

Why does he have a Minecraft lightsaber?

I might be into the Shockwave figure or pin, mainly because it reminds me of the TFA version.

He has Grimlock's head because he killed Grimlock and took it as a trophy/weapon/crown. OP is using his trailer as a set of wings.

Seriously, the series was insanely awesome.

We previously found art depicting upcoming merchandise based on the recent Transformers vs GI Joe comic. As it turns out, that art was more for the enamel pins since they are almost identical to the final product shots Kidrobot just posted on their website. They also posted a final product shot of a Cobra Commander figure, in two colours, based on the series along with an image of a skateboard deck featuring our favourite characters. Three months ago, we saw art of upcoming figures, pins and keychains based on the recent-ish (2014-2016) Transformers vs GI Joe comics. Earlier this month, there were final images of the pins, and two versions of a 7-inch Cobra Commander vinyl figure. And now, thanks to some preorder listings on ToyWiz, we have some more final images to share of the vinyl figures themselves!

The lineup of 18 figures includes Transformers regulars Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave, Soundwave, Wheeljack and two different colorations of dino-mode Grimlock - all based to some degree or another on their appearances in the comic series. Also present from the GI Joe side of things are characters like Cobra Commander, Scarlett, Snake Eyes, Destro, Baroness and more! The greenish Optimus Prime figure seen in the original images also makes a reappearance in a slightly transparent greenish-white hue, all but confirming that it will be a glow-in-the-dark variant.

And to round things off, from another ToyWiz preorder we also have final pictures of the 7-inch Megatron vinyl figure, seen from the front, back and in-package too! He appears much the same as the smaller Megatron seeing release with the others, aside from an actual chain for his energy mace, a removable Grimlock-head hand-puppet (which may or may not be removable on the smaller version) and perhaps a slightly more pouty expression.

All of these figures are set to release on December 2017, according to their ToyWiz listings. With that date fast approaching, which of these figures catch your eye the most? Are you more interested in the smaller Megatron or the 7" version - or both? Let us know your thoughts!

I normally wouldn't comment in this thread since I really didn't care for the comic series, so merch based on it isn't exactly anything that interests me, but...

Does anybody else get a Challenge of the GoBots vibe from Megatron's face here?

We return to the Javits Center in New York City to bring you more images from the showroom floor, as megatronus and Seibertron are roaming the area to cover more licensed products featuring Transformers!

This post collects the products on display at the KidRobot area of the Toy Fair showroom, which predominantly includes the Tom Scioli Transformers vs GI Joe figures and merchandise we had been made aware of back here, with a bigger Megatron series (with Grimlock hand), and the smaller blind box series of figures, with Optimus, Bumblebee, Blue Grimlock, and Megatron on display. We also have a list of prices in the images, hinting at enamel pins and keychains too.
