Australia – South of Ayer's Rock>>"Use your own damn sensors to track the rest of us or do I have to pluck them out of your tailpipe first?!"<< Motormaster bellowed into the comm-link, his own optics still fixated on the enormous mass that was Devastator on the horizon. >>"And what comes to our green hulking ally, do I slaggin' look like Scrapper and Hook to you?! Now shut up and get here!"<<
The boss was as charming as ever. Wildrider chuckled maniacally. Actually, when was his chuckle ever not maniacal? Anyway, seemed like the boss had too much on his plate to deal out any kind of serious punishment. Not that it would've mattered to the psychotic Stunticon....much. Sometimes he liked to see just how much he could get away with. Always testing limits. Of physics, of his body, of Motormaster's patience...Didn't matter! As long as it was loud and packed with thrills.
It wasn't long before Wildrider locked onto the signals of his teammates. A lot of other strange anomalies popped up on his sensors as well. All the fun times were being had here it seemed. Roaring up to his Stunticon comrades, it seemed like Motormaster was barking some kind of orders.
”...enter melee if you can...” was what Wildrider very selectively chose to hear over the roaring of his engines. The crazed Stunticon launched himself off of a sand dune, darting past
Breakdown, Deadend, and Motormaster in the process, going straight for the rock monster's kneecap. Wildrider deployed his trunk-mounted double-barreled plasma cannon and fired off a shot to blast the rock giant's knee to smithereens. Wildrider shot past the narrow gap between the falling rock titan's body and the stump of his leg to land in the sand on the other side.
Wildrider transformed and gave the rock monster a thumbs down as he cackled with a wicked grin plastered on his faceplate. The Stunticon transformed again and whipped through the crumbling debris of the rock monster as it fell, spinning out to a stop in front of Motormaster as he transformed and gave his commander a little mock salute. His optics bulged with crazed delight and he smiled that same crooked smile up at the Stunticon commander.
“Heyo
boss! Looks like I made it just in time, huh? Hahahahaha!”
Meanwhile, Wildrider was completely and utterly oblivious to the rock lord reforming behind him.

Australia – Autobot Shuttle Longevity – Combat Casualty UnitBlindside cringed a tad as First Aid got fed up with the constant bickering from all three of them. He couldn't really blame the medic nor was it really surprising with Veneer incapacitated in the adjacent room. He had let his emotions get away from him. They were still far from any realms slightly resembling control if he were honest with himself. The tactician knit his hands together and looked down at the floor. Whatever guilty train of thoughts might have been occupying Blindside's mind were immediately wrecked by the sudden, violent convulsions of Veneer. Immediately, he rushed to Veneer's side...was what he would've liked to have done. As it was, both First Aid and
Howlstrike were faster than his injury impaired self.
“Come on, Blindside, get those straps secured on the left side of the berth and help me keep the nurse still. Move!" Blindside was there. He initially fumbled with the straps a few times but eventually managed to still his shaking hands enough to strap the nurse down. The blind tactician then did his best to hold Veneer still. He was trembling even as he held the nurse down. He couldn't help it.
“It wasn't supposed to be like this...” Blindside muttered softly, “He was supposed to be safe here...” The tactician 'looked' over to the nurse's faceplate, half-expecting it not to have that monstrous cavity in it. “It's going to be alright, Vee...Aid is gonna fix you back up in no time...It's okay...just stop...Stop moving...”
Blindside had absolutely no idea why he was blabbering on like this. He hardly had any idea of what he was saying. The tactical, logical side of his processor knew Vee couldn't hear him. So why did he keep yammering on? Clearly logic had nothing to do with it. Why did this have to happen? Vee didn't deserve this. Vee didn't deserve this punishment...no...
