Those were definitely better dubsteps i agree. I just grabbed the first one that sounded halfway alright. I the "symphonic metal" is actually just a cover of the 300 Violin Orchestra, which is beyond sweet.

Fair enough, I love orchestra, I just didn't like it mixed with metal, pardon my over critical language, I am a bit of a music enthusiast, haha.

Screw Linkin Park. I wish they'd stop making music for the Transformer movies. Actually, I wish they'd stop making music all together. If you want to call what they make music.

I dunno about that my friend. When I hear heavy metal I dont think of robots fighting. I think of guys biting bats heads off, blood and guts, devil worship, long hair, head banging, moshpits, PCP, and suicide. I mean on disrespect to those who like heavy metal. But thats what comes to my mind when I hear heavy metal.

ooooohhh no he di'int. Thing is, what both of you are saying...exist in both genres.... But I'll put my vote in for Metal. Even though there is some killer rap out there.

Bling, hot women, cool rims, are all fun happy things people enjoy and like to hear music about even if you don’t like to indulge in them. As far as the negative aspects of society portrayed in rap music, it tells things that need to be known that are happening all around you in every urban city in America. Now if the exorcist or the blair witch project is all that’s happening where you live, then the stereotypical topics associated with heavy metal should suit you fine. I imagine people who live in the middle of nowhere have a totally different perspective on life and what to make a song about. I’m not saying you live in the middle of nowhere, and I mean no disrespect. But if you live in a big city like I do (Miami) you would see that the metal/grunge/alternative lifestyle doesn’t really fit in with the urban environment I live in.

well i live in charlotte which isnt small and spend probably 2 months a year in NYC. The rock scene does just fine in those places. THough I know miami is more of a hotbed for hiphop culture than charlotte is. And new york certainly has its fair share of rappers though i actually enjoy them more than other rap scenes.

California actually has a SICK underground metal scene... the likes of deathmetal/blackmetal/warmetal. Trust me guys, your argueing over peanuts and cashews. Theres the "happy" i guess, in both genres, haha. But in a second, both can get really dark and really real.

They're some people that posted (not pointing at anyone) that they didn't want LP to do another song. I for one like Linkin Park, mostly because for their TF songs. I kinda like Burning in the Skies, but I don't think it fits with DOTM. But, they have done a good job with matching the songs in the past Transformers movies.

I've listened this "Burning in The Skies"

The first time I heard it the opening just gave me the chills. That's pretty good start. That maybe would fit in the movie, and maybe even be used for some tracks in movie's score.

I just wish that the song itself was more like the opening, but it's still a damn good song.

Now all I have to do is to listen to the Album: "A Thousand Suns"

I agree! Burning In The Skies would be a perfect song for DOTM. There's definitely a dark kinda tone to it that would really fit.

I think if anything goes in DOTM, it should be In The End or Leave Out All The Rest, because Bay says DOTM is the last one. They should also feature some Stan Bush. The Touch or Dream The Dream.

The only other good songs on the album are Blackout (if you like scream-o music that randomly turns into a video game theme song halfway through), Wretches and Kings, Waiting for the End, and Iridescent. None of them fit DOTM at all. Wretches and Kings is the best match, but it's rap, and the message is all wrong.

What do ya'll think about "Waiting for the End"?? Not the first part of it with the "rap" but when chester starts singing. I absolutly love this song and think that they can work it alittle for the movie. And FYI, the "what ive done" was not a song they did just fot the movie, it was remixed to fit it. It was already on the album.

Most probably consider it to be a foregone conclusion that Linkin Park will be featured on the Transformers DOTM soundtrack, but it's still yet to be officially confirmed. It's been rumored that "Burning in the Skies" off their album "A Thousand Suns" has been selected for the film, and band members Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda have both dropped hints about their involvement in interview. Paramount UK recently updated their Official Transformers DOTM facebook page with the following post:

Well, I'm glad Linkin Park will apparently be making a return. I just hope they don't use that Burning In the Skies song. It's okay, but truth be told a lot of songs on that cd just don't do it for me. I love Linkin Park, but I don't think Thousand Suns was the best I do hope they have a new song though, I need some new tunes
