B.T.W - Seen the new team config and it's looking good but I've one small new piece of advice - I see Boltbrain kept as lvl 1 but you put him in the arena and while I'm sure you'll do well you'll probably do better in missions where it's max 4 per side and either all lvl 1 or maybe lvl 1-2 if it "feels right".

That's a really good result considering, presuming you're on Auto CR you only lost 56 energon but you gained 194xp which is really good as he had about 20,000xp more than you.

[EDIT] speaking of CR chambers - it's 2am UK - Time for bed....

But I'm used to that, as Water Convoy's 5 str+bb's config doesn't earn much xp, but it does give bots lots of shutouts.

You gotta consider the fact that all of my top six have over 200k xp.

And as for covering CR costs, I still have 1 lvl 0 energon generator on my team, even though my top three lvl 2s do a much better job of bringing home money.

And Dragonslayer, on the AU CR+levelling up early vs. leveling up late thing, both are ultimately up to you. Sure, I myself wait to level up, but the win rate and energon aren't the only reasons. I'm also a student and it's very convenient for me to just get on, click, enter into missions and arena bouts, auto-CR, go back to Photoshop or my labwork (senior year, so it's all biology and art with a little bit of other science and math, all of which is really easy for me), return here, click my top six, and start over again.

Do what suits you, DS.

Well, I seem to be doing better with this new configuration, so I think I'm gonna stick with it and play around with my stats until I get enough XP to where I can level up my 'Bots a good deal. Thanks for all the advice, guys :D

Hey, i seek some advice in making characters. Heres my team(i had different some time ago but i dont use it anymore, lost all enegron in battle beats xD).

as u see my cons are spinoff of G1, i planned to add their stats same as original ones had, but it seems to be long process, so i want to make effeicient low level fighters, wich can hit their original stats later

---EDITED---(plz comment)

megatron(weapon) - got 2 points in strafe, now im going to bump strenght by 1 and then rank by 1, this will give me some armor and maybe dmg while strafing

shockwave(weapon) - got 2 points in strafe, now im going to either save for more strafe or bump firepower(intelligence as last thing to do)

ravage(land animal) - got 1 avoid, will get 1 ram but after this i got no idea, opting to 1 speed and 1 endurance

starscream(jet), thundercracker(jet) - got 2 to avoid will get 2 to speed

frenzy(cassete) - got 1 courage, will get 3 firepower for best weapon aviable or 1 firepower, 1 firepower 1 courage(for total 2/2)

rumble(casette) - got 1 firepower, will get 2 more firepower and 1 endurance

soundwave(weapon) - got 1 skill, will get 1 firepower and co2 shotgun(or paralyer fluids if im going to get them), then 1 strenght and 1 rank for armor

sunstorm(jet) - brand new but plan is: 1 speed, 1 avoid, 1 strenght, 1 speed

I hate to break it to you dude, but Strafe is useless at level 0. The bast tactic you can take is Avoid as you get a free 50xp for doing nothing every time its used, and Ram comes a close second, but isnt too hot if you are outnumbered.

If you really want to boost your strafing and keep using them, put points in firepower and speed first, but the key to this game is to regard your tactics as 'bonus' attacks and to concentrate on the damage your minion does when he is a robot.

If anyone else wants to go into a bit more detail feel free...
[size=0]also, dont expect the megatron or soundwave alts to be around much longer either - they are both listed as 'rare' now.[/size]

Psychout's right. Strafe and Courage are useless at lvl 0 (tried both), but there are quite a few good configs that work at that level.

Decepticons can PM me for a free list of configs that are guaranteed to work at lvl 0.

And there are more ways to hurt an autobot than just Strength.

He's right. Go with stuff like Speed, Firepower, Strength, and Ram/Aviod if applicable. Trust me, it'll work.

Trying to stick close to your ideas as possible but tweaking them for better setups.

megatron(weapon) - If you can spare 30,000 energon I advise 2speed (get these 1st), 2firepower and a equip a Plasma Shotgun

shockwave(weapon) - similar to Megatron or maybe 4 speed to make him v.accurate and harder to hit. (be warned I had 2 level 0 strafers and they are now about 30,000xp behind my others, so sack that strafe off)

ravage(land animal) - 2speed 2avoid - leave ram until you can upgrade your strength.

starscream(jet), thundercracker(jet) - got 2 to avoid will get 2 to speed - I Approve!

frenzy(cassete) rumble(casette) - Play with your ideas you had here see what works and don't be afraid to reconfigure. you've got to have some bots to play with.

soundwave(weapon) - Fair enough with 1skill, 1 firepower but leave the rank you'd do better with 2speed and then upgrade strenght at level 1

sunstorm(jet) - I'd go 2speed 2 avoid and leave the strenght off until level 1.

Good level 0 setups: -
4spd
3spd 1 avoid
2 spd 2 avoid
4 avoid
4str & equip 4 tons iron armour
3str & ram & equip 3 tons iron armour
3str & 1 spd & equip 3 iron armour
2firepower, 2 spd and a lot of energon.(plasma shotgun)
3firepower, 1 skill and even more energon.(Energon Crossbow)
