I have a 2-hour delay at my school, so I'm coming here for a little bit. Otherwise, I'm on in the afternoon according to the Easter time zone.

Was going to see if there was enough of us to have a lunchbreak battle occasionally. Kinda Llke reading the newspaper and going to tesco's, but with far more killing and less panic-mongering stories about avian flu. (yes, i read the Scum...)

Anyone else interested?
I know Glyph has level 2's, lets hope he pops in soon.

In my case, I am along with the standard Seib time which is US Central time zone. I'm online to chat with most of the time as some of you may contest but my playing time is reserved for the tourney.

Config question: I want Sith Convoy (http://seibertron.com/heavymetalwar/cha ... r_id=63674) to dominate the lvl 1 arena. Should I keep the PPFs or go for BBs at some point? It's just that I've never worked with anything aside from BBs, nuke knuckles, Dols, and one Double-Barreled gun at lvl 1. Thanks in advance for the advice.

I enjoy using my double barrel plasma cannon. Most weapons are pretty crappy to be honest.

Battle blades really **** me off. There's my soldier, fighting with skill and finesse. The some fat lvl 1 with high strength uses a battle blades and kills me in one. I really hate it. Really.

I agree as well its real hard to compete at level one when you get diced by batlle blades before you step out onthe battlefield.

You can do what I do and pray to the random number god that you'll get a few avoids against those battle blades, then get a good hit with your fist/x-ray/dol whatever

It's not as worthwhile as Dol+spd+avd xp and energon-wise, even though the config yields alot of kills.

That is exactly what I'm talking about. The worst thing is I can't even find some to buy, nor do I have the money cos I've spent it all on healing tfs stasis locked by barstards using the damn weapon. There's no way out.

Oh I know what to do. What they don't know is, although my bots don't have battle blades, nothing beats incredibly high strafe. And Kayne will make them eat his shotgun yet. Also gave em high strength.

Anyway, looks like you're only 1.3k energon away from hitting negative.. i'd suggest leveling back down to 0 and gather up energon, Crump..

But... lemme give you an opinion of your team's current setups anyway, m'kay?

Drop the 3 endurance. It won't do you any good at level 1.

Lord Starscream

Looks okay.

Bliztkrieg

Same as Shatterblast-- drop the 3 end. It's better spent on speed and some courage.

God Megatron

Drop the 1 end, and put it to 1 courage.

Playback

Same thing with God Megatron, only drop the 1 end and put it to str.

Kayne

What 1 skill weapon are you using for this character? Could use some speed...

But there are ways to beat BBs. I know because I not only use it, but also have beaten it with my chars that don't have BBs. Besides, Water Convoy's 50% damage-hits cost about 86k xp, not counting the three points on spd
