Given we're only 25ish minutes in of what is essentially a new series ... it's really only been one full first episode.
People set their expectations too high.

But there's only like, 8 episodes. If we're one episode in... there's only two episodes.

Top Ten lists like this usually are...
It's also very confused on continuity. Computron was shown to be created by the council in Episode 1, yet the guys here give the G1 Cartoon backstory.

When do they say he was created by the council in episode 1? They mention he was loyal to them in later episodes, but I wasn't aware they said he was created by them.

He's been nice to me so far though, so I might never get the chance

Or you could dedicate one of your Top 10 lists to ranking the characters that seems like a far better list, only to still have Optimus as #1
william-james88 wrote:Hahaha, I might make a lit when all is said and done for this show. But it would be a top 5. And so far, while i love Jon, Optimus wodl not be number 1

You did read the posts I was referring to? Frame rate etc etc are all part of the package in a CGI flick. Whether it be BW Prime or Adventure. Just sit down, watch and be entertained is the gist of my post. Not counting the frame rate or how "limited" the lip synch etc etc. Storywise, the show is just starting, lot's more to know like those movie serials Spielberg and Lucas grew up on.
Framerate is a very legitimate thing to argue about when it's slow to the point of being distracting and detrimental to the product. We're not meticulously counting every frame of each second; the frames are so few in number we can literally see them. That's not a good sign.
As for the story 'just starting', the series is about halfway through.
And I think the point of a lot of peoples' complaints here is that they sat down, watched, and expected to be entertained... but weren't.
Eight. Eight episode of five minutes in length.fenrir72 wrote:1st 20 minutes of intros? Halfway already? How many episodes are we in for anyway?
Go! is. Go! has a vastly better framerate for its robot characters than this show does, and the sad thing is that both this show and Go! were animated by the exact same company, Tatsunoko Production, who has previously done countless animated works of animation quality ranging from good to amazing. This show, however, has incredibly choppy animation for all of its robot characters, with only the backgrounds and camera movement being the only things decently animated in this. When everything except the characters that a show focuses on looks decently animated, then there's something wrong there.fenrir72 wrote:And again with the production values. The moment Hb contracted the company to animate the story in serial format should already have given hints on how much budget was allocated to the show.
The company may want to have added more but if the budget they were given is limited (Hb being skinflints?) so corners are sure to be cut. Which goes back to my Pixar analogy. Lower your expectations. Eat the popcorn and enjoy (or hate the show). Heck, this kind of reminds me of Takara's TFGo! Compare that to this, which is better?

Poor Mistress of Flame didn't make it over a character that had one line , then died
