Add item to your cart. Update the amount you want to a high number such as 1000. It will automatically change the amount in your cart to the amount of stock they have.

Nice trolling, 6/10. Though now BBTS has 239 available, so I think consumers are speaking with their wallets. What might end up happening is TFCon may end up making less of the later Constructicons due to lowered demand leaving a great deal of the sets unfinishable in the long run. That would suuuuuuck! #-o

It could all be avoided if TFclub would just come out and release images of all 6 Constructicons.

What's turning people away is the fact that we've only seen 2/3 of Project Hercules, but MakeToys comes in with a complete prototype to show us.

2/3. Devy is 6 bots, 2 of which make the Torso and Waist. We've seen the entire torso and waist, so we've seen 4 out of 6, or 2/3.

I dunno if I'd call it SEEING those two, since it's in combined mode. I want to see all of em in:

- alt mode
- robot mode
- combined mode
- power-up mode with accessories

And yeah, Crazy Devy... I'm talkin' to you, too! Ha ha ha. ;)

Seriously, if you want people to buy 'em — post some actual pictures... front and back, different modes, etc. It's just like on eBay. If you just put up one low-res pic, people are scared to bite. Show the entire product and it gives people confidence to spend money. :KREMZEEK:

We've seen Hook, Longhaul, Scavenger and, Scrapper.

Mixmaster and Bonecrusher are still unknown for Project Hercules.

The images we've seen of a full figure use 2 Exgravers (Scavenger) and 2 of the Scrappers for legs.

Whoe. How do you check BBTS's stock??

Really debating which to get after all the chatter.

I AM really sold on Devastator being massive (though Maketoys being in scale with the FansProject set is a HUGE selling point.) The Exgraver version has left a bad taste in my mouth how different these are from the G1 sculpts.

I think if anything can be learned from Classics/United... most of us are pretty okay with a change in transformation, so long as the overall impression is roughly the same — especially the head and chest. I think we can take some fudging on the arms, legs, back. BUT these are missing the mark on both of those counts. Different head sculpts makes me want the Maketoys version.

It's almost like they're a FOURTH set of constructicon characters (in addition to the original 6, Energon 5, and the Powercore 5). EDIT (yeah, I'm forgetting the movie. intentional?)

Given, I might still get both. Honestly they BOTH do look amazing. Great articulation and design. One has size on its side, the other being more G1 accurate.

Actually 5th, don't for get the Target Exclusive Constructicon repaint of the RID Build Hurricane set. And it's a very good repaint

I think the RID Build Team were also repainted as Devy in the Universe line as well. I'm not completely sure though.

You are correct. It was a Target exclusive repaint from the 2003-2006 Universe line. I bought this from Counterpunch. I could not complete the set back in 2006 so I passed on it because every Target I went to was pretty much sold out, or had one figure missing from the package.

Well, that and the fact it'll be $600+ set. Everyone is assuming MakeToys' Dev will be considerably less expensive. If it comes out that MT's is going to be the same price, I think you'll have a lot of people jumping back on TFC's bandwagon. From what we've seen, I think I like theirs better due to the aesthetic of the individual bots...but if you stuck them both in front of me and MT's comes with two or three hundred dollars, well that's a hard shade of green to pass up.

The only thing that in a sense hurts TFC set is size. We are not paying for small figures. once ar is almost the size of Classic/Energon Devastator. In fact I think it would be a show price, $600+.

MakeToys is more doable for those who want a more G1 accurate in scale toy. However TFC's version is more believable. I will own both.

I think the intial shock of TFC's "Not-Devastator" price is what turned people off.. The amount BBTS has for pre-order keeps going up and down. People are thinking about it and staying on the fence. A good show of faith on TFC's part would be to show some finished pics of a prototype or at least individual pics of the lil guys. It's alot of coin for a "purchase of faith"

Maketoys version is gonna make some noise but again, little info is available. Personally Im in favor for the one who shows the pics we all want to see and the info we need to make the decision.

The MakeToy one looked better in combined mode than the pic I've seen of the TFC IMO. I know we haven't gotten a good look at the individual cons but I am really liking how slender they look considering they are part of a combiner.

The TFC one's shear size is a selling point for me. So far I really don't like any of the individual robot modes but I will still buy it to display as Devastator.

I'm still grabbing both sets

Oh, I'd definitely get both if I could afford it. From the somewhat vague info we have on each, the TFC one has better individual robot modes and a larger size in it's favour, whilst the Maketoy ones have a nicer combined form, and possibly a lower price. So you could say that the TFC version is more for the collector who wants to have them being a trumpet band, or really towering over other robots (or both, why not just buy 2!) and the Maketoy one is for people who just want a nice, more affordable, representation of Devesator to go with their Classics collections.

As it is I see myself stretching my wallet to accommodate the Maketoys version, no way I could get the TFC one (stupid body needing food!) so that's the one I'm focussing on. Each has their merits and I just hope that whichever anyone gets, they enjoy it.

It got worse when I did composed a picture of the two of them together. I like the design of both in their own ways. The size of TFC's is so damn appealing and scales well with my other stuff (not Transformer). But the overall sculpt of MT's is outstanding.

Craggy summed things up quite nicely.

I honestly think that MakeToy's combiner, if it is priced reasonably(which is to say perhaps $50 per individual combiner component) is ideal for most collectors. TFC's combiner is something that is so expensive that relatively few could properly afford it and by "properly", I mean that they shouldn't be diverging money from funds that are meant for their necessary living costs nor being only able to afford Hercules component figures for the next year and no other Transformers products.
