Looks like it is designed to fit in with FP Bruticus and Superion.

This it the Devastator that's replacing the Classics one on my shelf. Next, Stunticons and Protectobots and I'm practically done.
Maybe I'll give my nephew my Classics Devastator once I have this.

THE THING IS I'M NOT A FAN OF OVER SIZED TOY VERSIONS in how they relate to the original toys or media versions.
FROM MY perspective,a 3rd party not-devestator should have individual robots that are basic sized. and the combined form that is energon 5-in-1 sized.

Honestly, if they have any concern for the loss of potential/future clientele, they will rest their audience collective concerns at ease. If there is a a plan to go back to the drawing board (and rescale the design in lieu of price wars) or, worse case scenario, tuck tail on the project, refunds will be given by the retail outlet at risk of bad publicity within the fandom. Until all cards are shown, embrace the level of power we, as a collective, have when it comes to 3P competition over our hard earned dollars. I know it has nothing to do with them, but when FansProject coined the motto: "For Fans By Fans" - they gave us something more than just the toys (and I'll leave that up to your own interpretation). We must utilize this gift.

Because if they can offer the entire set before TFC releases even half of theirs, they have a lot more potential customers. If they both finish about the same time, there are a lot more people content with only getting one or the other.
Gauntlet101010 wrote:But that doesn't necessitate the offering of one, entire, set all at the same time. $300 is still a hefty pill to swallow for most. $50 or $100 in staggered releases isn't quite so bad.

Gauntlet101010 wrote:Like I said before, getting excited about one gigantic release is just assuming too much. Maybe that's what they'll do ... I tend to doubt it ... but I think it's just taking assumptions too far.
When they announce prices and a release plan, then I'll agree to get excited about whatever strategy they'll wind up using.
