While that may be today's reality, I still disagree with it and find that to be the wrong attitude to have. Wheeljack, MP 10, the casettes, Soundwave, Bumblebee, Shockwave those are just some examples of very solid toys that I can keep transforming again and again. Even Hot Rodimus, which surprised me since I thought some joint pieces were quite small, is very solid. Its just the chrome part that wears off, but it does even if you just touch him to pose him for a photo, so its not a flaw related to the transformation.
If I am going to spend this much money, I am hoping to experience the genius of the transformation. If not, why bother, right? We could just get one of those non transforming ones.
Takara has proven in the past that they are truly the masters by giving us gorgeous MP toys that were also durable adn inviting to transform. And I have enjoyed countelss hours of transforming them and marvelling at them. These toys are meant to be transformed, that is the core of their existence.

MPs are indeed not meant to be transformed multiple times unless you have deep pockets.

You only quoted
a portion of my statement. See the bold. Comparing WJ to Megs is like comparing apples to an avocado.
The over complex ones are really not meant to be transformed multiple times. Unless you've got deep pockets. (MP05 of mine has never been transformed)
As of my previous exchanges with Screamer, I am naught blind to Takara's shortcomings. Cheetas may not be over complex (might be subjective to the owner) but may be in need of metal part joints to increase durability. Those breakage reports on Megs and the chipping of paints? I already have a practical answer to them in my previous posts.
Megs, in all forms is a walking heartbreak waiting to happen with all the folding etc etc. Would changing that recent reported part breakage part to die-cast help avoid it? I am not waiting to find out.
'cause I've already accepted that these products are Noooooooooooot perfect (unless it's those Fix configuration Metal Composite Gundams by Bandai.....those are PERFECTION

). Not gonna complain too 'cause I'm addicted to Takara's plastic crack
I am not transforming my fig. I'll leave it up to chuckdawg and the others

I get to watch the frustration sans the hear ache.
