And if you haven't transformed him in say, six months, can you still do it as you would Sideswipe or MP-10?

!!
How come?
Emerje wrote:Fear, mostly. I try to do as much as I can without instructions (did SS RotF Megatron last night, that was tricky), but I feel like this is one I could seriously break and some people have. Plus I just haven't set the time aside for it.

Yesss!Cobotron wrote:I've only had enough time with him to take him out and pose him a bit, OH GOSH BY GOLLY GEE WHILIKERS is he all that I had hoped for, and more!
I get that, all that chrome, you have to make sure something white is reflected in it otherwise it comes out black.Cobotron wrote:I don't know what will be more of a nightmare, transforming him or photographing him.
I like the "auto-transformation" of the thighs.william-james88 wrote:Hey Cobo, I remember a time where we were both unsure of owning this rather expensive toy. But now we both have him and we both love him! Looking forward to your thoughts on the transformation. My favourite it is when you find out how those vents on the side of his belly dissapear within the gun.
The tears of collectors, I hear that Mp OPv3 is made of at least 44%.Cyberpath wrote:I hope Takara wrote down whatever they did with his eyes. They "glow" even in shadow. Wish MP-13 was more like that.
Tears of joy? ⠀Oh, is that why he's labeled MP-44?carytheone wrote:Cyberpath wrote:I hope Takara wrote down whatever they did with his eyes. They "glow" even in shadow. Wish MP-13 was more like that.

I did the same with the CHUG line before the "brand unification" nonsense, for the sake of cartoon-accuracy. That meant getting the toys after everyone else, but like with MP-36+, the redecos, remolds, accessories and comics reignited interest.Cobotron wrote:There's such a nice sense of completion finally having a Megatron for my MP collection. And, the fact that this 36+ version is exactly what I wanted when I first saw 36 makes it that much better. He's proven once again, that my approach to MPs of waiting to see if they do a more toy accurate version is paying off. Yeah, maybe I miss the hype train as it passes me by, it's fun to ride that train, but I am no less excited now to have this guy.
I did. He came packed that way. It's cool and throwbacky to the old way, but I prefer it on his back and out of the way. while I like my MPs to be closer to the OG toys, I do appreciate changes that make sense, like the gun barrel, or say, no trigger crotch.Cyberpath wrote:Did you try the the toy configuration for the barrel yet? Or do you like the mix between toy/cartoon?

Check this dark and seedy section of Seibertron : Unlicensed and KO Transformers Toys.Nathaniel Prime wrote:Not sure if this is the place I should be posting this but here goes. How would you guys feel if a KO company made a KO MP-36, but without paint, and instead, his plastic is molded in the same color as Siege Megatron's? I mean, it would be cheaper, and less nerve wracking to transform since there's no paint to scuff. I like this idea, what about you?
