Can you not wait to get your hands on the next Masterpiece figure, a cartoon-accurate Bumblebee? Thanks to Seibertonian Cyberpath and Twitter user ArrvlFrmCybrtrn, we not only have stock images of the Hasbro release of MP-45, we also have several in hand images! Let's take a look!
As as the show (and toy altmode) accurate Bumblebee is a Takara initiated figure, it will be sold in the U.S., but with a black slipcover, that being the only change to it before it's imported to the U.S. for sale.
As these next two photos show, Bumblebee will come with a gun, a blast effect for the gun, another creepily-faceless Spike Witwicky figure, and interestingly, a sticker sheet. These stickers seem to give the option of covering the
symbol on his license plate with a red heart, so as to not technically infringe on the "I (Heart) NY trademark. He also comes with stickers representing the ice cream splotches from the "Child's Play" episode of the G1 cartoon, rust patches from the "Cosmic Rust" episode and Morphobot spores from "Quest For Survival".
Next, we've got a great shot of the '84 main cast, many of them in their MP+ decos- a great way to see exactly how MP-45 scales with the other toys he's likely to be displayed with.
Then we have some nice poses showing off his poseability and cartoon accurate robot mode.
MP-45 was originally scheduled to be released in Japan this Saturday, September 28th, but
Takara Tomy Mall's own website shows that he's been delayed to November 23rd. Do you already have your preorder in? Do any of these pictures sway you towards picking this figure up? Any speculation as to the delay of this figure? Feel free to discuss below!
