I'm especially geeked about this b/c I have about 25+ G1 figures, but I never had any of the classic jets -bka SS, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Durge, Ramjet. This version is definitely worth the $ to me. I'm drooling over the pics. I want the MP Skywarp now - what's the best way to get him? Or should I wait for a U.S. release??

Picked up two of these guys at my local WM. Glad I got two, the first one I opened and transformed appears to be missing the racheting in one of the knee joints so it's very loose in bot mode. Haven't opened the other yet, surely they won't both have this issue.

Just checked at the Valley Ranch Super Wal-Mart tonight for grins and all MP Starscreams are gone. Dunno if a lot of people went and bought them or some scalper got to them.

Oh well. Glad I got mine yesterday morning.

Wow, I went yesterday evening and they had a dozen! Only had money for one though.

No luck in capitaland NY either, though I'm shaking the bushes. Classics devastator was lying around in piles a while back (DAMN I should have got one), and they had to ship them back. So we seem to get quite a few exclusives (between 4 or so WMs), but I have yet to see one.

I'm off to shake the bushes now in fact.

Which WalMart in Colorado is that? I've checked the Parker and Centennial Walmarts and they don't have any yet.

My pal who also collects had his mom on the lookout during her wifely shopping excursions and POW!, a St. Louis Walmart had several of them. She picked one up for her son and one for me! This will have been the easiest hunt for me yet, I didn't even have to go out!!!! Thank you, John's Mom!!!
Can't wait to get this bad boy onto the desk in my office.

I got my MP-5 and upgrade kit this week anyway, so I'm happy. Even avoided the ugly, ridiculous orange plug of doom.

Well, I hit the Walmart in Glen Ellyn, IL, on Butterfield and Rt 53, and no MP SS. They did have the movie Thundercracker re-paint, and it took a superhuman amount of willpower for me to leave him behind, I really want that guy.

Sad part is, if/when I do find MP SS, I have to wait until Christmas to open him- that's the wife's rule.

Self-enforced, I put my MP-05 and upgrade kit in the attic, and if I do find hasbro MPSS, I'm putting that in the attic as well. Now that I'm working for a living and past the instant gratification portion of my life (except for in my head and soul), I prefer going to work knowing that great things await my christmas morning glee. Got my O Prime stocking, and a self-bought MP-05 and upgrade, and hopefully MP SS... Makes me happy to go work every day knowing I have that to look forward too.
