I am very glad to hear this. As far as Im concerned all I've ever wanted was to be allowed to be part of the RDD and proud of it. The rules allow me to do this, and this makes me a happy bunny.

SECTION 2 PART E - Tagging your teamname or sig with whatever social group you are affiliated with is permissible as long as it is within reason and does not violate the recruiting piece of SECTION 1 PART E

Also, EP, the little "PM me about the G2" thing would be a recruiting thing. I didn't even catch it and was just looking at your sig image which is perfectly acceptable (and cool, I might add).

I'm more than happy with the rules.

I don't see much of a need for the clan recruitment really anyways. If a player wants to be part of a clan (or know more about it), they can do it like they do on many other online games-- ask about it!


It's been an unsettling year, and I'm glad to see things are finally starting to settle again.

Good to see some action being taken by the staff to get this forum back on track.

Now it fits within the sig guidelines. And you can keep your clan tag. According to the new rules the clans are just unoffical, unrecognised, and can't openly recruit.

Now all you gotta do is get it (and yours for that matter) under 40k in file size and everything will be in accordance with the sig guidelines posted in GD.

Wow. I didn't know the max file size for sigs was that small. That's ridiculously small. CBF has set in, besides Mkall, and half of this forum is over the guidelines rule.

Maybe later I'll change the file size on it to be smaller. Saving it for the web should reduce the file size by half. But seriously 40 kb is more like an avatar file size then a signature file size.

Using photoshop? Try saving for the web, it helps.
