Westland TRU and Target didn't have anything new. Actually, Target had the legends 2 packs. No new voyagers anywhere. TRU has about 5 each of Long Haul and Grindor. Target had about 6 voyagers.. quick mix, long haul and that was about it. Target does have BSG season 4.5 for $16.99. picked that up.. still gotta get season 4.0

nothing again at AA TRU. they said they've been getting calls about them, but haven't seen them yet. Ann Arbor/Saline road had a Bludgeon. grabbed it for tfpredaking. Still two recon ironhides there.

Sorry guys! Just doing a little SEO work for the site. I changed just about every single topic title in the Sightings forum to make all of them consistent to make them be found a little easier via search engines. I've been making a lot of minor changes this past week to the forums with the hope that we can get some more people to start contributing to the sightings forum, which in turn means it will be easier to find Transformers for all of you.

Well, I hit a bunch of stores in Grand Rapids this weekend. Saw a few Bludgeons and the Comstock Park Walmart had some of the new basics. That was about it though. For those Seibertronians in Grand Rapids, is there a Walmart on 29th street just off of Broadmoor? Google Maps on my iPhone says there was, but I couldn't find it. Ended up at the Cascade Walmart out by the Meijer at 96. What a dump that Walmart is...:-/

Yeah, it's a complete dump and no, there isn't a Walmart on 29th. The Alpine Ave. store is by far the best in the area.

weird. I don't understand how Google maps can be so far off sometimes. It's too bad you have to take your life into your own hands on Alpine Ave. The traffic up there is terrible!

I think Google maps takes in old data and data users submit. I had this happen last weekend with a TRU in Chicago, or rather, not in Chicago. However, the building that was there definitely looks like the TRU stores from back in the day so I imagine that there was actually a store there at one point but left and another business took its place.

Google Maps also says there's a Walmart a mile away from my house that doesn't exist, however there is a Sam's Club right near there so I think somehow Google got the address from Walmart and Sam's Club somehow and now lists a Walmart at the same location as Sam's Club.

If you logon to Google Maps, there are some ways that you can mark it as a bad location or at least put in the reviews that the Walmart location on 29th doesn't exist.

I'm originally from the Flint area. I used to live over in Grandville off 44th near the Walmart over there and some of my family live over in Holland still (that's where Seibertron.com was born). Grand Rapids used to be my old stomping grounds about ten years ago. I got started programming websites for a living back in 2000 by becoming the "Internet Content Manager" for WSNX, i96, WOOD-FM (Star 105.7), WOOD-AM, 101 The Fox, and WTKG. Before that I sold cars at Classic Chevrolet on 28th and the Serra Chevrolet dealership in Hudsonville. That job eventually lead me to Chicago in 2002.

Same here with my Google HTC Hero Android phone. The other navigation system on my phone, Sprint Navigation, has its own issues as well.

Well, when you're out of town, visiting friends who aren't yet home and you have some time to kill, looking up directions and printing them out isn't an option. Not only that, even if I had looked them up and printed them out, as you suggest. They still would have been wrong.

So what you SHOULD do, knowing well in advance you are going to visit these friends, is have a 'just-in-case' list of nearby stores should you have spare time(which let's face it, you'll make time) to go searching.

...and the "just in case list" would still have the wrong address.

This is a little late, but our internet's been down all day and I just installed an old wireless adapter to, uh, borrow some internets. Anyway, I was finally able to procure Animated Arcee and Cybertron Ratchet over at the Ann Arbor TRU. They had about three sets of each left. Other than that, there wasn't much of interest. About effing time...

Also the Target on Carpenter has the legends 2 packs, but they're not too exciting.

gods dammit! I didn't stop by there after work today because I figured it was pointless. I hope they'll still have them at my lunch time tomorrow.

You're not getting our point. No matter how you access the information, computer or mobile device, google maps thinks there is a Walmart supercenter on 29th and broadmoor and there isn't.

And you missed mine. I'm saying don't use Googlemaps.
