Has anyone in the Ann Arbor/Canton/Westland area seen any TFA Skywarps recently? I still can't find him anywhere

as far as I know, PQP is the only one to find him. I only saw 3 shockwaves and never saw a skywarp. I don't know why that wave hasn't been around.

Livonia Walmart had plenty of Universe Smokescreens and Dinobots along with the previous wave. They also had the Bumblebee-Beachcomber-Brawn legends wave.

In response to finding Skywarp/Shockwave in the Ann Arbor/Ypsi/Canton area, I found the pair of them before xmas (nov. I think?) at the Walmart in Taylor on telegraph per somebody's tip on the tfw board. I've been stalking the usual spots in the Washtenaw area since, but I haven't seen another Skywarp at all. I saw another Shockwave once at a TRU, but that's it. The legends seem to be popping up with a decent amount of regularity at the Belville Walmart, but I know that doesn't help the Lansing crowd at all. Last I checked they still had the entire TFA legends wave. I bought the latest legends wave ([hot] rod[imus], Cosmos, etc) at the Ypsi Meijer just last wednesday, and they were sold out after that. I found Inferno and Lio Prime at the Ypsi Target next door, and I should've bought Wreck-gar on the spot, but didn't. If you guys are really dying for the legends, I'd start checking walgreens or cvs, I think one of those has been stocking them. TRU have been stocking them as well, but the Arborland one still has way too many of the second wave (jazz, hound, tankatron) last I checked. I went to the ann arbor and michigan Ave targets today for Wreck-gar, and turned up empty handed. They both had atomic lugnut and the safeguard sets, but nothing too exciting to report.

As a side note, after the horrible experience I had finding a Classics Grimlock a couple years ago, I've made it a point to buy any Transformer I really want the first time I see them in stores, just in case. It really surprises me that Skywarp and Shockwave were so horribly shortpacked, but I have a theory. Since the economy was in the tank in michigan, more so than usual, most retailers were hesitant to order new toys for xmas vs. just selling their current stock. I think those two animated voyagers just came out at the worst possible time, and few stores around here ordered them. Plus, many, many stores around here were pregnant with Lugnuts and Bulkheads, so there was no reason to reorder any Ani. Voyagers. Somewhere like K-mart or Meijer who are usually a wave or two behind might be your best bet of ever finding those two in the stores. Oh, and it probably goes without saying, but when you check target's stock online, you're checking for everything in that sku, not the particular upc. In other words, if you were to check the stock of heavy load vs. treadbolt, you would come up with the same results. Crappy Hunting!

The Wheelie/Cosmos/Warpath/Hot Rod wave of Legends is at my local Meijer in Davison, MI. I got Wheelie to put on top of Masterpiece Grimlock when I can get him. Also got the last Dinobot at the Target in Burton on sale for 9 bucks. They had a crap load of silverstreaks and sideswipes, but the animated section was dead.

Wheelie won't work well like that. He has no knee joints. I like the Legends, but if they would just have included a knee joint here, an elbow joint there, and then, they would have been better.

I got unsubscribed from the thread again :-x

Anyway.. I got my Universe Vector Prime from HTS today. It came to the right place(I had the correct zip code) and it also was all fedex. They never gave it to the post office in Belleville. I thought that was nice :grin:

HTS did a bang up job of packing this guy, let me tell you. A nice box about twice as big as the toy box full of that wonderful, protective air. What's that you ask? Air.. it's that stuff that's around you all the time. Yeah, no packing peanuts, no bubble wrap, no inflated plastic bags.

At least I'm not a MISB collector. The toy is in fine shape. Nothing really different with this one than the others besides a painted sword. No electronics on this. Not that they did much anyways. but he'll look great with Alpha Trion and the other Vectors I have.

Saw the fifth and final MASS Device set at the Allen Park Target today, nothing else of note. The Meijer across the way has plenty of Wave 4 Universe Legends, only one Cosmos, but plenty of the rest.

Saw the new GI Joe comic packs at the Dearborn TRU, the Beachhead, ScrapMetal, and Resolute sets. They are marked at $11.99. I also saw the ML 2-packs, including Skrull Elektra and Captain Amercia sets. The only TFs I saw were one each Smokescreen and Dinobot, still marked at $9.99.

i got the wheelie legends wave yesterday, but i still havent found inferno. i have started picking up the marvel U figures. i bought iron man and daredevil. leaving punisher, human torch(no flames) and spider man behind. they dont look so bad. i did hear that the figures for the new xmen cartoon have been spotted at TRU. more 3 3/4th sized figures. has anyone seen the wolverine movie figures? they are supposed to be out also.

Hey everyone. I picked up a Skywarp at the Taylor Walmart a little while ago, if I see anymore I'll let you guys know. Recently I found Leoprime but none of his wave mates. All the latest waves of Animated and Universe were at both Allen Park Meijers and the Walmart. Meijers also had all the Universe and Animated Voyagers on sale for 14.99 (UNI) and 19.99 (ANI). The Joe figures were 4.99 down from 6.99 tehy had ones like Cobra Commander and Gold Mask Destro. They had new Joe vehicles there and at my local Toys R US but I don't know what anyone may be looking for.

I myself picked up Blurr, Swindle, Cosmos, Starscream and am planning on getting Dreadwind? Darkwind? whatever his name is when he appears at Toys R US.

Who's planning on going to xtravacon tomorrow? I'm going. I'm not sure if I convinced noob to make the trip out. we shall see. Is anyone still watching Galactica? Last night's episode was fantastic!

Hi guys.

As of last night TRU on 14 & John R has all 4 new legends(Cosmos, Wheelie, Warpath, Rodimus) and Smokescreen, Dinobot, and Cheetor. I snatched up one of each myself.

They were going fast, and I mean really fast, kids were snatching them up like you wouldn't believe!! So if you want them get them before they are gone.

I had zero problems ringing these up at the register by the way, I know some people have had problems with this at some stores.

TRU on Gratiot has JACK as of Friday afternoon.

They were also at the Target in Canton on Ford Rd. I grabbed Leo Prime, but they still had Inferno and Overload

. Overload has got to be one of the worst choices Hbro has made in awhile. Repainting a repainted figure, and putting it on the shelf while the other is still available.

It's supposed to be Armada Overload, and it's not even red...
