HA Barricade will definitely find his way into my collection. I'm still torn on the HA Twins though. I liked the characters fine, but did I like them enough to spend $60 on them, in addition to the three figures I already have?

After I get the house in order, I'll have a Michiganders party and invite everyone over, probably in the spring. You can then all marvel at my insanity without feeling all squished in. Marvel, I say!

Sightings-wise, I picked up Reissues Perceptor/Insecticons at the Dearborn TRU today, there were one of each left. They are expensive, $35 each, and they come 2 each in a case. The employees there are so nice to me now, they even opened the case for me. Aw, shucks. Feels nice to be welcomed.

I grabbed one each of the TRU commemorative reissues today from the 28th Street TRU in Grand Rapids. One each was left. They also had several of the Hoist/Mixmaster repaint packages. ALL of the Mixmasters looked like they had mold defects on their faces, so I passed. Has anyone else noticed this?

So, I was passing the Jackson TRU on my way back from Kalamazoo and decided to chance stopping in.

And there it was...Perceptor...the only thing on the top shelf, looking as if it was just casually tossed aside.

It's been a good night.

i just opened my perceptor earlier. i was disapointed that the stickers were already applied. i like appling the stickers to reissues.

Grabbed Insecticons and Perceptor from the Livonia TRU. None left.

Hate the fact that they no longer have the names for Bombshell and Schrapnel. But at least they still have Kickback!

Damn... apparently I didn't click on one of the email notifications that there were new posts... I missed TRU reissues being out, HB as the Baroness, Jimotron apparently crossing the state like 5 times...

Not much new to report. The new wal-mart in Saline(Ann Arbor) had a powerglide and hardhead last night. Belleville Wal-mart had a Skyfall today.. Neither store had the new wave of DC figures. I did see a 5 pack called Gotham City at Belleville. It had Superman(regular costume), Batman(black and grey costume), Lex Luthor(purple and green not armor), Catwoman(purple repaint of the black one) and Two-Face(one side orange). It was $49.98.

I haven't picked up anything new lately except for a Red Stripe Cylon Centurion at TRU and a 2010 Toyota Yaris at the local Toyota Dealership! It was the last one.. they won't have more until the end of the month I'm so happy with my new car. My Focus was ready to be put down. It had 132,000 miles on it and needed about $2000 worth of work. My only regret... I left my static cling Autobot window decal in the back of the Focus when I traded it in! tfpredaking thinks he has an extra that he's willing to give to me.. so my new car might be an autobot again. I need to give it a name though

Well, the Yaris and the Focus were the two main cars I was interested in. the Yaris had what I wanted for a bit cheaper and it was actually pretty tough to find a dealership that had Focuses in stock. Also, Toyota was offering 0% for 60 months. I think Ford only had 0% for 36 months on the Focus. I do feel a bit bad(especially since Riije works for Ford) but I couldn't pass up the deal.

$15 Voyagers at Target today, boys and gals. It was enough to convince me to add the RotF Starscream to my collection. I assume this is to promote the DVD release tonight. I have to work early, otherwise I'd be out at midnight to pick it up. Still, should be a nice opportunity to test out my brand spankin' new employee discount tomorrow.


Still no Grindor. Hmm.

'Cause he's a traitor bastich. Then he has the nerve to show up at my house and have a couple of beers, tainting my driveway with that foreign POS.

BBTS has preorders up for Bludgeon, Recon Ironhide, and the Dirge wave of Deluxes, all say due out in Nov. I preordered the Bludgeon case and a couple of Dirges, just in case I'm unable to find them retail.

Now, off to get a copy of ROTF, and maybe Demolishor if I can find him at Target's $15 sale...

They've got some neat bot and con decals designed for laptops and computers as removable decor at Kmart in the electronics section. Look like the one I spotted recently in a 2010 black and red Camaro

I still think my car would looks awesome with a psuedo-Sideways paint job, but I doubt that'll happen for quite a while.

The Taylor/Allen Park KMart(on Van Born) had at least 3 Long Hauls, an Ice Cream Twin, Arcee, Swerve, etc., on a pallet just outside of the action figure eisle. Everything is on sale, Leaders are $30, Deluxes are $10, HA are $30, Robot Replicas are $11 and some change. I couldn't verifiy if the Voyagers were on sale, but I'd guess that they are.

Dearborn TRU restocked the Back Road Brawl sets, and Gathering at the Nemesis. Nothing else of note.

ROTF wasn't bad, at least not as bad as all the reviews made it out to be. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but at least I got to see lots of giant-robot ass-kicking that was severely lacking in the first film. I actually liked Skids and Mudflap, they were goofy and you couldn't understand what they were saying half the time...no where near as annoying as Jar Jar. Oh, and Alice was HAWT, if unconvincing.

And what happened to Starscream?? He was so badass in the first film, in this one he's a groveling loser, always getting abused by Megatron. I know that Starscream is supposed to be a coward, but at least in G1 he had the lugnuts to challenge Megatron from time to time...it's like his traitorous nature was completely ignored this time around. Good thing I don't put too much stock in the Movies, and he has a sweet Leader Class figure coming down the pike, so that should make up for his wimpiness. I love that design so much, I even bought the Robot Replica, 'cause it looks so cool.

I was just about to post the same thing about Kmart on m59 in pontiac...$30 leaders, 3 optimus, 1 jetfire, as well as a brawl from 2007. arcee, swerve, deluxes - $10.

The leader Starscream mold is pretty sweet......eventhough I hated it from the get go(2007) and I don't like the deluxe...this one just looks different...either that or the mold is growing on me.

SIGHTING!!!

Novi TRU has two reissue Perceptors and an Insecticon set as of yesterday. They had a second Insecticon set until I grabbed it . I wasn't originally planning on buying it, as I still have my original Shrapnel, but I figured what the hell...he's broken and I'll finally have the other two.

My g/f moved back to Kalamazoo today, where she says they had a plethora of Long Hauls and (finally!) Grindors. So we're all caught up until the next figures come out!

The RotF Voyager Starscream is pretty neat. I love the jet mode., the robot mode seems a bit thin in the profile, but whatever. He's mostly to hold me over until the leader class comes about. That plane mode better be accurate as ****. =P
I'm hoping he'll actually have those thrusters in robot mode. I love that little detail, that he can just fly around w/o changing back to the Raptor.

On an off-topic note, no new sightings but Operation "Baroness" was a success I can't wait to see all the studio shots that were taken!
