I think weve all got a good idea of how MMC works now with last years tease being Vos as megatron and the year before being azalea as predaqueen ? or was azalea already known ?

Think some fans on all the forums might be missing the obvious easter eggs hints. That this April fools Reformatted Carnifex Hexatron toy might have.

What if the Gun, Head and pointy shoulder toppers shown in this Faux pic. Are actual parts and weapons that come with the real MMC Carnifex Overlord toy.

Really hoping that MMC cranks out an Overlord this year. I'd choose Overlord over any of the DJD figures, especially since money will be an issue. I can blame Last Stand of the Wreckers for that

He's my favorite Decepticon psychokiller!

I would be funny as hell if "carnifex" is just an upgrade kit you can buy for your hexatron with cone shoulders, a new head, and a new gun. Given the similar colors, it would probably work in a headrobots style fashion. Especially for those who double dipped to get the new improved hexatron.

I'm celebrating! If there's one thing Tsu and I can agree on, it's that MMC needs to release Overlord ASAP! :DANCE:

If they go the traditional route and engineer two vehicles that combine, I can see Overlord being an inch or two taller than Hexatron.

Really excited for this one. Could never into the Japanese cartoons post-Headmasters but I've loved him as a villain from the IDW series. Hexatron is one of my fave 3P figures so I have faith in them doing a good job. It's clear they're continuing with the IDW style so I expect he'll be Hexatron sized, which suits me fine. Any bigger and he's going to look to weird next to PE Warden.

I am curious to see how this one turns out. I have to say that if it is just a re-format of Hexatron (see what I did there? Eh? Eh?) then I am probably out. I'd like the "Classics" update, but in the form of 2 bots that combine into one. It'd also be nice to include the Powermasters too.

But, we'll see....

Looks like this pic might show be a test shot toy. Either that or a really great CGI CAD file art pic.

Think this might be a base mode for IDW Carnifex Overlord. Similar to the Base mode the 1988 version had.

Technically MMC doesn't even need to create a new head. I'd be happy with MMC just creating a replacement front half of the head. That has a 1988 Overlord toy accurate face on it.

Damn, he looks fantastic. I knew the head and weapon in the teaser were of the actual figure.
Even if he ends up not splitting into a tank and jet, he'll be a brilliant figure.
