I like the way you think there!! and the fact that you mentioned Predacons, now that's given me an idea..

I wonder if there will ever be a Predaking or gestalts in the animated line??

I think close combat weapons are a must, considering the horrible aim of most transformers..

So Bumblebee has a...drill? The way the hands are sclupted, it looks like he's handing the drill to someone instead of holding it.

Still though, I think the designs are growing on me. I like Bumblebee as a character, so he'd be someone I may get. Prime looks all-right, interesting how very little of the alt. mode is displayed in the robot mode.

I think the show will be key in how much I like the figures. It sounds weird, but the designs don't carry enough weight on their own(in my opinion), mostly cause they can't fit easily into displays with other lines.

I love the alien truck design...

And these are awesome! Me love Animated figures...

That construction design on Prime's arms just begs to be broken.

what? it's all alt mode. turn his waist, fold his legs back, push his head down, arms back (and exposed) and put his 'shield' on top. Other then the shield it seems like he pretty much transforms like the original did.

I guess I just don't dig him. The movie designs were so intricate and detailed. Small sculpted details and features all over them, complex transformations. Bumblebee looks cool, looks like he has a nice transformation too. But Prime? Ugh. I mean it looks like Prime, red and blue, truck, etc. But after the "WOW" factor of the movie toys, he looks pretty dissapointing. I hope the Voyager class is nicer and doesn't look so much like a puppy chew toy.

btw, the ones who keep thanking the movie for showing Primes mouth? Give credit where credit is due. I've seen his mouth in every cartoon except the original.

So Primes exposed mouth is hardly something new. Beast Wars, Armada, Cybertron, etc. I imagine that's why all the toys except the G1's have a just a mouth, or a mouth and movable face shield. (*not knocking it, I prefer the shield myself, but it's not a Michael Bay thing, Primes lips have been flapping for a long, long, time.*)

I like the Animated line that we've seen so far, but I'll probably be waiting for the Voyager version of Prime.

Unless this mode is somehow supposed to be his pre-leadership mode or something story related, I prefer the look of the truck with the trailer.

They both look awful.

im not to keen on some of these figures here wow these figures are expensive on ebay get them cheaper or half the price when they hit store shelves.

prime i may like him more if his chest just wasnt so big you can barly make out his stomach in robot mode prime in earth mode i keep hearing about going to have to wait and see how he looks before i decide to buy the series or not, bumblebee i know its an american cartoon but his head seems bigger than compared to the other body parts on his body but either way big head or small head im liking bumblee more than prime but i do like prime's truck mode though it is nice to look at.

if i do buy prime ill just keep him in truck mode than robot mode

didnt see the eintre thread just clicked on the links at first i like the picture with prime and his sheild it kinda takes away from my negative opints in his robot mode im still waiting to move right now so right now i cant say im going to get these figures or not it all comes down on how my new room is at the new house big or small thats the number 1 reason in my question if im going to get these figures or not.

looking forward for others to hit the toy line to see what they look like megatron, grimlock, arcee, and others

this is his final earth mode in the cartoon: He's a Fire-Truck with a huge water canon off his back.. i sure hope that comes off like his shield and becomes his BFG (Big F****** Gun)

I heard that -- but did they say what makes them so expensive? I don't see why a hinged plastic box with wheels would be so costly -- it's not like the trailers for any other toy vehicle line are terribly expensive. As long as the thing were capable of storing a deluxe vehicle or two, I doubt many people would even care if it could turn into a battle platform.

Anyway, with his arms so unforgivably exposed back there, this Prime sure could use something to hide them.

I really really like these, and Bumblebee has a fusion cannon!

Hopefully Hasbro will paint the mass release Bumblebee a lot better ;p

prime needs a faceplate, and this plastic looks horrible qality. but somehow i love these!

I'm not gonna say any of you are wrong for liking these, to each their own, but these are not for me. I haven't skipped a US mold since Beast Wars season 2, so I think thats saying something.
