No, it's not. Shokaract or Dirt Boss would be going too far. Tarantulas doesn't seem that unreasonable.

As far as my wishlist? Well, they're not Decepticons per se, but I'd love for Predaking to come back (and possibly bring Skylynx and Darksteel with him. Maybe Backbite from the comics, too, though that's probably a stretch.) And I wouldn't necessarily mind new Predacons, either, though I somehow doubt that's going to happen.

As for who I'd like to see from past continuities, how about Tidal Wave, Lockdown, Thrust (BM), Sideways(Armada/Cybertron), Smolder, Waspinator, and Oil Slick?

He did get a toy in the beast hunters series ( i own it really good toy)

How 'bout someone new? Freshly new?

Megatron's reformed, so instead of rehashing what's old, this seems like a good opportunity to start from the ground up with an original character to make his (or her) name in history.

In fact, what if this time the main Decepticon leader was a female!

I'm sure Starscream will be the new Decepticon leader. We don't know his actual fate at the end of Prime so if he survived the Predacons he could easily get a ragtag group of Decepticons together.

As far as Autobots go I'm thinking Sideswipe is the loose canon hotshot that doesn't listen to orders, Fixit will be the know-it-all that thinks he has all the answers, the cadet will be the by the books character that constantly brings up protocol, and the Dinobot will be the muscle that just likes to break stuff and rampage.

I was trying to stay away from G1 guys since they tend to get more love than non-G1 guys. I almost put Ruination on the list, but then I remembered there's already a FoC Ruination toy, so that'd make things confusing.

You know this makes me hope that some of the Transformers Universe transformers show up either in IDW a new Cartoon or both.

I'd like to see the actual 3d models they'll be using for the show rather than these cell animations before I decide. not that impressed so far...

Every TF cartoon aside from Beast Wars and Beast Machines has been animated in Japan or its neighboring Pacific Asian countries. This one will likely be no different.

I assume the Decepticons will take cues from Age of Extinction, i.e. Lockdown, Galvatron, etc.

Hmmmmm hope we see Stinger that would be cool but instead of human made he could be an unstable Decepticon experiment with the unstableness giving the ability to split apart into a swarm.

Weeeeeellll....I was really against Animated at first, but maybe, like Animated, this'll be the start of something cool :-?

Bumblebee is Bumblebee, I guess I'm a bit bored with him.

Sideswipe is a bit human looking for my taste, I dislike TFs with hair (I'm looking at you Nightscream :HEADHURTS:

Fixit is soooo totally

As for the Elite Guard Cadet and the Dinobot, my hopes are Tailgate (Homage to MTME being under the painful tutelage of Magnus) and Grimlock (I have a feeling after AOE we'll be seeing more of him)

It'll be a while until we see toys of these in stores but I already want a retool of Fixit so that it looks like Johnny 5. I also want a Number 1, 2, 3, 4 and a gold plated repaint.

And then I want Cosmos repainted into the aliens from Batteries Not Included. Better yet, take G1, Universe and Generations Cosmos and make them all the aliens from that movie and sell them in a multipack.
