Actually, if you want a decent price guide and identification book that is recent try 'The Transformers Identification and Price Guide' by Mark Bellomo. It was just printed this year, seems fairly accurate, and has great pictures of accessories, etc.

I just picked that up a couple of weeks ago. It's definitely a good bathroom read.
