I honestly don't think the voting is real. I really think it's for morale than anything else. Which is fine. Not trying to knock it. It's pretty clever that fort mad, trypticon and omega all showed up in the past month of IDWs books too. Coincidence? Who knows. I hope it's omega more than anything. Need a good omega supreme. Tidal Wave the size of Metroplex would sure be a fun toy - but How can they make him float if he's all hollow !

Since Tidalwave and Allofdem aren't options I'm going Scorponok. Still doesn't matter who wins, we're all winners. Except the people who complains, they're the losers.

Nah they're still technically winners because they still buy it and still complain about how "it wasn't what they wanted" lol

I imagine this will lead into a campaign for fans to make a movie character in the next movie eventually.

I certainly do want a Trypticon - I'd just prefer Scorponok 1st as he make a lot more sense to be released immediately after Fortress Maximus so he can directly appose him - especially as there is fiction related to this stuff and so Scorpy would make a lot more sense in terms of the story they might like to tell.

Also if they did decide that Metroplex was the ideal match for Trypticon then they can always re-issue him at some future point (though I would prefer Metrotitan).

DAMNIT! I missed the vote! Stupid job!

I would have had a hard time choosing between Trypticon and Scorponok. On one hand, Trypticon definitely needs a new toy. He is very different than the other base Transformers because he doesn't have a traditional robot mode. I would have loves to have him go between Dinosaur, city, and spaceship. Scorponok would be a good choice because we are getting a new Fortress Maximus. He would go well with the Titan Masters theme, so he is more likely. I do like his modes as well.

Omega Supreme has had enough toys recently not to necessitate an update. I already have the Platinum version, and he works well enough for me. Devastator will be displayed battling him.

Honestly, I would be happy with any of these three, though. But we need Decepticons.

A reissue would be grand... I missed out on 'Plex the first go round, and after taking a quick peek at eBay for an average secondary-market price, part of me really doesn't want to shell out over $300 for the guy.

Sadly, it looks like tryipticon will be the winner.

at least if they make a crappy figure of him, I won't care. Also, if they don't make Omega, I feel less of a need to waste money on devastator. A loss for me as a fan and a collector, but a win for me as a responsible adult. :-D

missed the vote, really wish it would have lasted longer, like til Saturday. still i REALLY hope Trypticon wins. I am very happy with my YOTS Omega, and i can wait a little longer for Scorpanok. Trypticon is the absolute must for me

I hope they're planning on doing more of these fan-votes- that is, where we get to pick from pre-existing characters rather than what we got with Victorion and Windblade. I'd love it if the next fan-vote is for another CW style combiner- provided they offered him I would, of course, vote for Piranacon.

Yes I got that - I however just wast taking the opportunity to express my admiration for the Unicron Trilogy style of Minicon.

Besides - have you tried using little things like WST, Minicons and the Targetmaster partners with Metroplex - it's makes him look even more huge !!

I especially like the look of him with tiny planes in his carrier mode or how the tiny robots suit so well to "Manning" his repair bays.

Anyways speaking of Metroplex - as I mentioned a while back I've not had him very long.. so I was wondering a few things about him....

I suppose since this thread is more or less about Titans here will do to ask.

1) What are those funny flip up red levers in his base mode for near the heli-pad - they don't seem to be for anything - anyone got any ideas of their purpose ?

2) If there anyway to avoid breaking his visor gimic by accident ?

3) What spots do people put his spare large red gun if they have bought one or got an Asian Metroplex who comes with two rifles - as I'm puzzled what to do with them there just seems no where decent to store them.

4) label Options - 'Plex seems to me missing a lot of Labels I know Reprolabels made a set for a lot of money - but is there other options ?

5) Has anyone made him some new knees (ones that rotate at the connection to the leg) - and what fixes have people favoured to tighten his insane floppyness?

Those are the things that came to my mind when I got him and so of those points might carry over into Fort max to some degree too I guess.
