I compare almost everything to wine, but first I want to know what you're eating so I can pair the two up. Lately TMs have been on my menu and I've been looking for a lovely light brown/tan deluxe to pair up with them and this plastic cassettebot that may have joined the collection.

Bruts, what more can I say. Even to this day I still find joy in that rambunctious bunch of cons, with the PE kit really putting the set over the top. The weird thing really is that once you've experienced any CW team you've experienced them all, but that set seems a little more shiny to me.

I'd love to visit Japan, especially Akihabara. I'd also love to see the Japanese country side. Obviously growing ng up in the 8 and 16 bit Era is a major influence. We are going to Mexico towards the end of the year (first time out if the states yo) and looking into places with a more fashionable European vibe for next year.

Well being I had Prime Rumble out I figure I'd take a quick pic of him. I feel that he is a very underrated figure. The bot mode has plenty of articulation and has a wicked evil sculpt. I like the homage to the original figure. Transformation is satisfying and the alt mode looks like a sporty little honda. I just wish the red flavor would have been released stateside. The only complaint I have is that the Tak head sculpts are far superior.

I nabbed RID Starscream today. I'm impressed. I also think I may have a bot crush on Starscream in general

And last but certainly not least, my new favorite thing in the world right now, Nendoroid Mega Man.

This sweet beat of the night goes out to WreckerJack. Here are a couple alternate door/wing configurations for Gen Deluxe Nightbeat.

Here is my current configuration of NB with the wings folded in nice and tight. I feel it differentiates home from Bee or any other white winged bot out there.

I was using the wings down ala Movieverse Crossfire to emulate that detective trench coat look. It worked OK and with a little imagination you could pretend the car parts on the back were part of the coat as well. I generally just didn't like the way it looked and it limited arm articulation too much.

So whatcha think; doors in, out or down?

And is there any other cool fan modes out there? I've heard of the hover car mode. Hmmm.... :-?

I think I smell the beginning of another photo challenge: favorite fan modes!

I like doors in. Seems Nightbeat likes to tip over so I might try that with mine.

I tried to transform him last night and found it to be a little fiddly in terms of getting the seams lined up. But that might be because I am not used to generations figures yet. (I have only had Prime and RID so far)

My Nightbeat has issues with the back tabbing together in alt mode. It just won't cooperate, so I have to deal with a slightly gappy back bumper

That's wheird guise, I have no bot stability issues and I feel that the alt mode is nice and tight.

I held off on this mold when it was Bee because it just didn't look like Bee and it gave me bad Bay Bemaro vibes. I'm glad I jumped on Nightbeat as I really do enjoy the it. At the right price I'd nab the Goldbug variant.

Well, well... I knew that gosh darn Gundam kit would be a job but I was a little caught off guard by the amount of parts. Well I finished the head, upper torso and right arm yesterday.

Looking good so far. The set comes with stickers and a paint color guide for the pros. I'm sticking with the stickers and I think they are looking good. I am using a toothpick to press them into all the grooves. I'm taking my time and enjoying the journey.

Speaking of journey; I finally got my first xenomorph encounter in Alien: Isolation. It was equal parts frightening, exhilarating and challenging. That bad boy is a real monkey fighter too! The Alien series have always been one of my favorite sci-fi universes. There is just something about that low fi vision of the future that really appeals to me. This game is delivering everything I could ever want from a sci-fi horror experience.

Back to TFs and fan modes specifically. I've mentioned but have never shared a slight mod for the CW Dead End mold; Prowl to be exact. Anyway it's a slight difference but I feel it brings a nice change to the bot mode and help deliver that distinctive Prowl door wing look.

Basically I just leave the car hood up instead of folding it down. Honestly I feel it makes a more svelte bot.

As some of you know Prowl is my boy and after some remembering, he may have been my first Transformer. I even love the IDW dick head version.

Whatcha think? Anyone else got any CW fan molds to share? totally the next photo challenge, btw

I actually was using that exact fan mode for Smokescreen and Prowl when they were separate. It is a pretty neat look.

I don't think I have any other fan modes for my combiner guys though. Maybe for some other guys though. Human Alliance Leadfoot has some mods to his robot mode, But I lack photos

Well damn, that came together quick. As Emgo says "second verse, same as the first". Paint me impressed with this kit. The stickers look phenomenal and its fun posable lil guy. I do believe I may have just took a big step down an uncharted rabbit hole.

I've always been a fan of the SD/chibi look. To the Amazon mobile....... =P~

That gun with the site is sweet. Is that fanmade? Also the pistol that Nightbeat was holding in your last post was really nice.

I wish there were more realistic guns for TF's.

That Gundam kit looks awesome!! Super Deformed always works with robots!

Prowl looks nice too. Having the nose of the car vertical isn't how he's normally transformed? I don't have any of the CW car bots, so that's why I'm asking.
