I am doing my best to resist the urge to slap you silly.

Now why would you ever do that? ;;)
Still, with the quints and the Vok as precedent, you could probably work in some creepy-crawlies if you wanted to.

Yes, my razzing aside, I feel Tekka would bring allot to the game.

I'm for you doing it Tek.

We know all about how much free time you have (you are ALWAYS in the ODB thread :P joke, seriously); and since you know the know-how, why not put it to use?

Go Tekka go!

I still root for the idea of a programming team. HMW is too much for one programmer alone to handle.

Don't resist, just do it.

But just remember what you're getting yourself into by offering your services.

I'm confident I can handle it, should I be given the opportunity. I'm not expecting to dive right in though, but the offer is there for consideration.

I will say though, I'm also confident I can do a lot of work very fast once I get a handle on how the game is written.

Tek can do it, he's made of sturn stuff :P

I don't particularly know what the next step is. Does he need to talk to Ryan himself? I dunno.

Well there's your first mistake.

Claiming to possibly be able to do stuff. Now you're gonna get people's hopes up and well ... you should know by now what will happen if you don't come through. :P

If I didn't feel that way there would be no point in me doing it. :P But you're right, what I meant to say was is I can't wait to get started so I can fail miserably.

And I look forward to your xp rollbacks and total accidental resets! :P
Well I don't really, but we have to make sure Tekka can take a joke first and won't be some boring programmer with a stick up his butt.

Well as far as rollbacks and resets go, I'm hoping there won't be any. My first thought would be to duplicate HMW on my local server and get a small group of people together to be my testers.

That way we can make sure things actually work and don't break the game before they're introduced into the main version of HMW.

I thought Seibs has something like that already.

I don't know. As you can tell by my joining date I am fairly new to Seibertron as a whole. But if I were allowed to work on it, it would be much easier to have everything locally so as to make sure I can make changes quickly and easily. Uploading to and from a foreign server would be frustrating and be a speed hamper.

Best way to find out is to email him.

If you're serious Tekka, (and it is awesome news if you are,) I'd suggest sending Mkall a pm to begin with.

Good luck bud.

If there's any member of this site with the dedication and time to get us V2 (or at least stave off the degradation of V1), it's Tekka. I hope you get it man, and as for my earlier comments, you know me, I'm a jack-ass. :P

Heck, I could help out with the programming. I've done a few PHP sites, and I know a bit about Javascript (although I think the Javascript mostly runs the clock).

If you think about we got a war map now. So really as it has been said before things are what you make of them.
Any how shouldn't Mkall get some more time as he has stated he has somethings he is testing.
