My reasoning for Omega SUmpreme being in the film are as follows:

1. The cybertronian spacecraft we have seen in the trailer conataing Sentinal is our new Omega I think. "The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft on the Moon and must race against the Decepticons to find it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers' final battle" as quoted from Wikipedia, Omega Supreme would be quite a game-changer, perhaps he is a neutral warrior that both 'bots and 'cons need/want.

2. Michael Bay has said that " the scale of one of them will be jawdropping", and we all know that Omega isn't your ordinary sized robot.

What do you think?

The possibility is definitely there for the particular big scaled bot to be Omega, and for Omega to be tha Ark. The idea of not making an equally sized Decep toy as a rival sounds a little crazy,tho.And hiding it from wave 1 is pretty gutsy (I'd expect a wave 1 hit and then a Xmas follow up release with extra gimmicks).

A part of me still thinks it'll be a group of Decepticon battleship combiners for Omega Supreme to get all Mudflap on.

I can agree with the points presented that Omega Supreme is highly likely as a cast member. I would very much like to see his character again, as well as a toy version.

Yes, because they want all the new characters and plot details revealed in February so we already know what the movie is all about for 5 months before it comes out.

What we've already seen is mostly the first wave and probably the second wave...a few new characters to get us speculating, but not the complete package of new guys. Omega Supreme's status to fans, his shear size, and the fact that he would be a new character in additon probably would make Dreamworks/Paramount and Hasbro very tight-lipped about him for a while. They wouldn't want to throw his toy out there two months before the movie. Only time will tell...

Yeah, in Animated Omega was also a ship: Teletran-1.

He really could be a ship that has it's own name.

The movie toylines are seperate continuities to the movies.Omega can be and not be the Ark at the same time.

I doubt Omega would be the ship, as it's already designated The Ark. That's not to say he wouldn't be part of the toy line, but there are already quite a few Leader Class toys as well as The Ark play set part of the new toy line, so I doubt another oversized figure would be included. Who knows. What I'm trying to say is that Omega would be too big to warrant a toy by itself, it would have to correspond with a character in the movie.

Personally, I never liked the character in any of its incarnations, except maybe the DW series where he and Sunstorm duke it out. And he lost. So, hopefully there will not be an Omega Supreme in Bayverse. It would bring down an already mediocre continuity.

Maybe he's not the Ark but rather the Space Shuttle we've all been hearing about.

I think it's been largely agreed upon that that's Silverbolt. But I doubt anything's been made official regarding that.

I thought the ship that Omega was was called the Ark. The computer inside of it is called Teletran 1. Just like in G1.
