Post here whatever topic that's not covered by the other threads.

A couple of ideas I have for the project, that we haven't talked about yet:

-How about "box art" pics of each character?, we can then combine them with the bios an make our own "More Than Meets the Eye" profiles book as a companion to the comic. We'll need the traditional 2d artists for this.

-A group of faux screen caps of our "TV series", we'll need the digital 2d artists for this one (hoping to get Valandar interested in this ).

i was kinda thinking the same

though i was tossing the thought of using actual pics of the bash for the pics to make it easier on the 2D artist [me] unless you can recruit others

cuz i can sure whip up a template MTMTE page to stick text and pics on but drawing that many chars on top of the full comic is a daunting task for me [who isnt the greatist penciller in the first place ]

If I'm supplied with Either picks of the bash or areally good sketch i think I could be convinced to do this.

What style do you want, SD, Manga, 50's infomercial, Don F (or as close as I can get it),

Actually I hope we can recruit more artists so you can concentrate in the comic, I think I can work on the template too, also if that's OK with you guys I'd like to work on the title/logo for the cover of the comic too.

Loqi already offered is help, so we have one already , I'll ask Destructor if he'd be interested, don't know if any of the other big talents in the fandom even know about the project.

We could advertise this thing on other boards.
Then again, if too many persons work together it could get a bit too crowded with too many ideas, thoughts.. etc.

Well, it would be best if we could get more artists and such for this. Might be easier for Josh if he only needs to color.

Oh, and I'll advertise this on TFans and TFW2005. As soon as I know their rules about this kinda thing, atleast. For all I know they could consider it as plug, and I don't know if it would go in their Fanart, Fanfiction or Kitbash forums because it's kinda a bit a mix of these three.

But now for serious. Where should I post this thing? Cause frankly, I have NO idea.

I think we should wait until we have all the designs ready or pics of the custom toys themselves, before we adverstise it at other sites; we need to have something to show before we ask for illustrations of the characters.

Also we can write a stardard text and send it as a PM to the artists that are members here but don't post too often.

Can I make a deluxe bot that has a weird 'city like' mode? Just a weird question I had working on the project...

now that it's a bit late. why aren't we using the transtopia logo on the header of the main page as one of the faction logos?

I mean the book is called transtopia afterall.

I suppose it'd be OK, as long as you explain why he looks like that in his bio. Are you thinking in something like a city for Micromasters?

This was one of my first ideas, I wanted to use it for the rebels, but it turned out pretty early in the project development that not all people like the site logo.

That's why I suggested to make all new ones for both factions, to avoid any future problems if the site logo ever changes.

I would like to pitch in with the MTMTE profile like stuff after the designs are done and all if you guys like.

Just don't count on me for coloring:( I suck at it, until I sit down and learn it, probably past April-May.

We could have the gear logo just designate government/military personel and installations, and have the Transtopia logo just be what the general non-fighting populace uses...

As far as the 'general populace' is concerned, surely they'd just go badgeless? Having their own insignia would be like proclaiming that they're actively members of a non-faction that doesn't stand for anything...

Anyway, if you're interested, I'm also up for artwork duties. My figs are well on the way to being completed, and my art-workload is starting to lighten a bit, so I'd be in if you want any profile/box images doing. I'm currently working on Piledriver and Jackhammer's for a start-off...

As I see it all the Transtopians but the Reformers use the gear symbol; maybe the site logo can be the future logo of a re-unified Transtopians?, just an idea though.
