I just had an idea for a story arc, but I'm not sure if it could work because it ties into the G1 (and subconsciously Energon) universe.
Basically it's about the Reformers going towards the Jungle Moon to seek the help of the Sec'Laz people, and after gaining the chieftain's trust, they learn of Qumekla, the Sec'Laz god, rumored to live in the centre of the jungle, deep within a temple. Deceptor learns of this and heads to Jungle Moon himself to stop the Reformers, knowing that this information could cause a rebellion among the Sec'Laz slaves. The Reformers eventually arrive at the temple, and discover it's actually a crashed alien spaceship, trapped inbetween the large trees. Once they go inside they discover it's home to Qumekla, or rather Omega-Q, a Quintesson scientist that looks like a bulked up version of Alpha-Q with just one, lizard-like head (a Solosson, if you will). He tells them about him escaping the desert planet of Q Prime, but winding up in a transwarp corridor, and somehow crashing on a remote planet. Realizing he couldn't get away, he started giving life to the planet, turning it into one giant Eden, complete with a race modelled after his ideal of a perfect creature. He then tells them about the Vok coming in and creating Transtopia and it's moons, and a guerilla war starting between the Sec'Laz and the Vok Emissaries. After a war that ruined Transtopia and a large part of the Jungle Moon, the two species made peace, and rebuild the planets. But before he could tell them more about the history, Deceptor barges into the temple and mortally wounds Omega-Q. Before he dies, he manages to tell Whirwlind that if he wants to know the truth, he should find the monuments of the war, that were hidden away by Eternus, and then activates the self destruct. The Reformers and Machines get out of the spaceship before it explodes, and the Sec'Laz are furious at the Reformers for destroying their sacred temple, and ban them from the Jungle Moon. But now the Reformers know that they should look for these monuments, because they might be the key to driving off Eternus, according to Omega-Q' tales about him fearing them.
Well, what do you guys think? Is it too clich? or a good idea?
