No not really, I was messing around with a junker KO Silverbolt adn thought a city typemode would be made...

Maybe you can say that the alt mode is some kind of repair bay or something like that.

You and your logic! Actually, it was a silly idea, in retrospect.

I've pretty much decisded not to use the knockoff tank magatron for etrnus. I found one and looked at it up close and frankly i think it looks like crap. I'd rather use an armada megatron than that thing and mod it. as I can't find any of those I started looking at other figures and I'm really happy with the vector prime figure from galaxy force.

With a new headsculpt and the same helmut plus the maroon and tan colorscheme and some slight mods to the vehicle form to add the shield and i think it would be even better for the character. It'd even have a sword which is the characters main weapon. plus it has the thigh gurads similar to what i was designing so that's less work there. For 44 bucks though I hope it turns out nice.

what are your opinions on the figure change. It would be a little less earthy looking than the tank.

and to top it off since it has hundreds of gears molded into it Iskander can tie it into the Machine logo he came up with.

Though I liked the tank, I think using Vector Prime is a wonderful idea; for one, we have already a couple of tanks in the Machine's ranks, plus since VP is also one of The 13 (in the Cybertron/GF timeline though) it's quite fitting that they look somehow similar.

I never knew he was one of the 13. Mostly cause it's an alternate reality than g1. but again i did not know that.

I'd say go with Vector Prime. But if you can't pay for the costs of kitbashing one, go with A-Megs, or maybe even E-Megs.

But if you do go with VP, how will you make the horns fit in vehicle mode? Isn't exactly much room for them, or they have to fold to the back of the head, but then they would be visible in altmode...

I'm going to give him a smaller head anyway but the horns /wings are part of a removable helmet. similar concept to Tfmasters alt. Bludgeon. The helmet may get a hiding place (haven't seen the figure in person yet) or it may apear from a transdimensional pocket similar to primes trailer.

The removeable helmet sounds good, but I have no idea where you could hide it...And I think addon parts are better, or else you could end up with a HUGE head, kinda like with the combiners.

ooh my! shame we intended that we dont mix any other line/continuity cause wrapping a story of the original 13 in this could be awesome IMO

Hmmn...I think I'll throw a few references to the Original 13 and the Covenant of Primus, just for the sakes of religion and possible future plotlines.

hey we can have eternus vs the fallen in the prologue before they are picked up by the Vok.

Thanks, I'll think about adding that in. But the first comic isn't going to be the standard-style of prologue, but rather the cast reflecting on the past and, of course, the first battle between the Machine and Reformers in the last couple of pages.

Still no responses from kitbashers for help with my characters. The apparent lack of enthusiasm outside this particular forum is strange. You'd assume somebody would jump at the chance to help make something that's going to be in a comic. Specially two major characters.

I'm going to continue with the design process, so they can still be in the comic. Once I get something I like, I'll post it. If anything, maybe they can be in wave 2.

On a more positive note, I got response from Chris_parasyte and he'll still be a part of the project he just has to sort out some things and he'll be back with us.

I've been making some headway on Starburn the last couple of days. If I get time tonight, I'll try and take a couple of pics so that you can all get some idea of how he's looking. I'll also snap off some shots of Piledriver while I'm at it.

Well, in the comic there's a leader before Whirlwind (who Iskander called X), and as a little joke I made X "Overmaster" (TF-Master's Overlord). But that got me thinking. Right now the ranks are a little thin, so how about using customs on this site for generic bots or redshirts?

Not sure about that name, doesn't sound too much like the leader of a revolution, it would have fitted better a Machine leader.

That's a good idea, there are some bots in the galleries that aren't homages so they'd fit quite well with the project, I think as long as we have permission from the custom's creator, go ahead with this.

I'll try and get permission from TF Master for "Overmaster". And I know that name sounds evil, but we don't know his origin. For all we know he could have been a Decepticon.
