This is looking GREAT, but it is also making my resistance to the Fort Max reissue erode

I'm really trying! But if BBTS knock another $30 off I'll probably bite, as that would cover a lot of the shipping costsmegatronus wrote:Arctorro wrote:PE, I both love and hate you!![]()

Tsutsukakushi wrote:It looks like the Tank treads can detach. I just don't see how it's possible to have the tank treads attached in gigantic Headmaster mode.
Creating something like this only makes sense. If PE plans to create there own poseable 2 foot fort max bigger body.
I just don't feel comfortable spending $150 for this PE-DX03. somehow combining a highly articulated 3rd party toy with a 1987 brick former just seems wrong.
I can see why PE,Made that oversized gun for Warden. So it could be given to 1987 Fort max. It still looks terrible & oversized to use with PE Warden in any of his modes. Having a weapon bigger than the robot never looks good.

Arctorro wrote:This is looking like it's finished and ready for mass production, how can March be the release date!
That sounds better. As for QC, if they are this far along hopefully that is all going well.synapse wrote:Arctorro wrote:This is looking like it's finished and ready for mass production, how can March be the release date!
According to PE themselves it's "late january". I don't mind it being march though, as long as the toy gets proper QC and all that jazz.

Tsutsukakushi wrote:Paying $140 for a Voyager sized Warden toy seems rather exspensive. Especially considering other 3rd party Leader sized toys like Hexatron & Quake wave sell for around $135. Other 3rd party Voyager sized toys these days barely sell for over $90
If PE wanted to grab more sales on this. They'd offer the Secondary option of just buying the Warden minus the big gun for around $90. Also offer buyers the option of just buying the big riffle gun minus warden for around $50.

I dunno, FP gets away with charging $60 for scouts and $150 for a small voyager. It's hard to price out third party items consistently. I think Fanstoys and MMC are on the lower end of the spectrum with regards to third party pricing.

FP Blastoff & Swindle both came with loads of combiners accessories & weapons, all of this helped bump up the price.
The FP Stunticons are each about Five inches tall,They are all almost deluxe scale. Various Hasbro deluxes like 1.0 Rodimus is Five ince & a Quarter inch tall. 3rd party combiners are tripple changers, with a robot, alt mode & combiner mode, this bumps up the price.
