Thank you so much for this. I can not wai for more details (such as pricing) to be released. It looks like the "backpack" on his figure will be removable so we can choose to have the IDW tank or the G1 headmaster ... which is pretty awesome!
That would also make sense (to me) as to how that makes up the seven modes. Man I can not wait for a pre-order for this guy.

Indeed, thank you very much.So it looks like as of now we're getting a figure with transformable head and a backpack that can transform into a head about the size of G1 Max's head. Am I right?
Maybe slightly bigger?

Yea they do - they put out really solid work. I think it's just that we haven't seen anything super splashy from them in a while.
This might change that! We'll see how FP/ToyWorld Cerebros stacks up, but PE set a very high bar here.

That sounds messy.
That tank mode isn't exactly blowing me away, but I suppose it does look kinda fortress-y. As for that cannon! It makes City Commander's BFG look like a spit-ball straw. I hope there's a way it can be wielded in robot mode, maybe hooked on to his hip.
I'm annoyed that half of this things functionality is going to be wasted unless you have a G1 Fortress Maximus, but that's my own fault. I do however think that the colour scheme needs revisiting. There's too much green. ANd other things.
