that megatron soundbyte from that last interview welker had recorded, didnt really sound like megatron
but this voice was megatron without a doubt
well that sucks it wont be in the movie
too bad; i couldnt care less about the game

Previously, on Transformers: Seibertron, I had no interest in this game. Then this happened.

Talk all the logic you want. The fangirl in me is going to be all over anything that has the original Megatron saying new stuff.

I'm a little confused. People bitch and whine about the movie and state they're not going to see it for some trivial little reason.

But suddenly people are going to rush out and buy a game because Welker and Cullen are going to do the voices? :???:

Never mind the fact their roles will be minor compared to the actual gameplay. I swear, people are damn confusing.

The closer to orignal G1, the better. It's all about the homage and nostalgia I suppose.

Anywho, that sound byte seemed a little off as someone already mentioned.

Hey I still hate how the movie Transformers look like, but I would love to hear Welker as Megatron together with Cullen again. Even if it's only a game with those horrid designs, it won't ruin my fun from making the most of it. I wounder how game play will be...

man. ill be honest and say im pretty disappointed in Welker being hired to do the voice of Megs. I just fear a repeat of G1 Galvatron

Leonard Nimoy did such the PERFECT galvatron voice..and then in the cartoon Welker gives him this high pitched, whiny, annoying voice. its like the movie never existed

i just hope he tries to follow what Weaving does and doesnt just go off on some insane tangent. that would REALLY ruin this game for me IMO

ya know, much respect to frank [hes an uber talented man] but i just hope he uses that vast amount of talent to follow whats being established

Why? He's doing the G1 Megatron as heard in the voiceclip. He said so in the interview. And his Megatron voice hasn't changed at all in 23 years. So much for Shia's "his voice is different now". Don't forget, Welker can pretty much do any voice. He did the voice of the Devil in the "Spawn" movie. That was downright sinister and evil if you ask me

BTW, is there someone on here who can record the voiceclip and offer it as a downloadable MP3?

I said as soon as this game was announced. If they have Cullen and Welker in the movie, those two will be in the game. As such, I ain't surprised. But I'm bloody ecstatic!

oh my god... activision is really going out of their ways, above and beyond to absolutely satisfy the fans, especially alot of the stuff that we seem to have problems, with the exception of the desgins.

I could comment about "people" complaining it's superficial to hate the movie designs then acting like those of us willing to look past them for contents' sake are doing something wrong (not to mention assuming that everyone on the anti-side dislikes them for the same reasons). Instead, I'll just state the obvious - Frank Welker is a really good actor and even if the game turns out to be a steaming pile, chances are high his work will be stellar. I could say the same thing about some of the actors cast in the film.

Supposedly Welker recorded all of movie Meg's dialogue and that will be an option on the DVD .

Now we get to see whos a better megatron. And get to prove that Welker can still do it. Ive been saying since day one the best thing to come from this movie will be the toys and the game. Time to go pre-order.
