Genesis is really great. The quality is spot on, definitely recommended if you like the look of him. Going by that, Swoop should be well made.

For me, they're the Dinobots. For older/Classics collectors, a no-brainer. For the kids, robot dinosaurs that transform into butt-kicking robots. The cool factor is off the CHARTS!

In the absence of anything else, this is a must-buy. Also, it might encourage the creation of the other Dinobots, by whoever. It doesn't matter to me who does them, so long as they scale reasonably well and aren't miles away aesthetically. Dinobots FTW!

Awesome news!
....although I needs to see how Swoop turns out, even though he looks good, his design doesn't compliment Hasbro FOC Grimlock very well. Swoop is too blocky.
BUT, I do like the FOC Dinobot art designs, and judging by SDCC reveals they(HASBRO) are not doing any other Dinobots anytime soon.
That is unless they throw the Dinobots into the T4 Movie and their popularity takes off again?
The price has to be right too. Many companies are charging $100 for a voyager figure now. If its that much I will have to really think hard about it.

Usually after seeing the gray prototypes, preorders show up soon after. Its curious why we haven't seen any yet?
I mean, even if they only get 2 of the dinos out before the movie and that is all they do I would be happy.

Some modification have been done to create this prototype. More joints and interlocking system are embedded.
Also, we have added a new joint to lock on Grimlock's for it to gain flight ability.
Feel free to give us some comments such as colouring. The green colour will not be the final colour. We are still choosing the appropiate one.
This kit is under development. It is just a test shot.
