I recently bought back my very own GDO Megatron with Reprolabels that I sold to my local geek store around 4 years ago. All this time, the poor Megs remained unsold. So I finally decided to take him back because I thought it will go well with my Select G2 Megatron.

And I was right.

The old tank is smaller than I expected.

I just opened Cloudcover to which I paired him up with G2 Ramjet only to notice for the first time #-o

that he was given the wrong symbol....? Despite the fact that I had it for so long and I'm just now seeing this don't change the fact that it's wrong. :G2CON:

Yeah, G2 Ramjet was part of the preliminary G2 assortment from December 1992 that all still used the G1 symbols for the two factions, before the line changed over to the G2 symbols later.

They could have been the Bandai "insecticons" but there's already Ransack in the last BWBB 4 pack that came out.

So, yeah, it could be the Diaclone repaints.
Are the E-Hobby edition in Diaclone colors? That's all I could find.

Thanks to our usual source of leaks JTPrime, we have news that new Transformers Generations Selects listings have been found.

Unlike most past Selects listings, these 2 new listings are multi-packs, with no name or indication as to what is in those multi-packs, outside of one being explicitly listed as an Autobot pack. Could these be more G2 repaints? Could we see another exclusive G2 Stunticon? Is this where the remaining 3 deluxe Insecticons are released? Who knows!

That's them, correct. Considering they all simultaneously serve as Diaclone updates, retroactive figures of the many Insecticlones, and stealth Shattered Glass releases, pumping out a multipack of them that could potentially be troop-built seems like a great call.

I wonder if that "Autobot Multipack" could be Armada Wheeljack and Wind Sheer? Maybe toss in a Yellow Jolt to go with Super Hot Shot. Yeah, I know red is cartoon accurate, it isn't toy accurate.

SG Sideswipe IS Armada Wheeljack, down to his new head. If the thing is not repainted into his proper Armada colors, it will be baffling.

To note, if you utilize the Scavenger head on the Inferno mold you will notice the purple colors match to the shoulder paint. But, if you would like to use the Scavenger head for Antagony, the gunmetal color matches the waist and shoulder paint. I’m trying my best to give people options when I can as I don’t want the alt heads in some of these molds to be tossed into the abyss.

Lets talk about how lovely this sculpted detail looks as this carpenter ant alt mode rips a fozzilizer to shreds! The metallic raspberry just pops along with the soothing predacon purp! You will also notice on an early engineering pilot test shot, I actually was thinking about homaging her original comic apperance but once I saw how good the purple looked on the movable mandibles, it won me over.

Thanks to Mark Maher on his Instagram, we have a nice little breakdown of the design process that went into the Selects release of Antagony. We get some details regarding building in some Transmetal retooling options into molds such as Inferno and Tarantulas, though that has not come to pass to date. We also get some info on her head design and the choices behind the alternate heads.

I ordered a 3D printed head for Antagony so that it doesn't look just like Inferno. Also I bought a second Inferno and painted it differently to go with the Scavenger head.

Ooh which one? I wanted to do the same and also get a custom 3D printed head as I’m not quite sold on the recolored Inferno head for Antagony.
