Anyone want to talk some Baseball (MLB)?
I know this weird to say but there going back to the stadium and I do like there chances to tie this series up
I feel last night they faced the toughest picture in Carbona and not Sabathia
Plus the 3 and 4 starters in this series aren't that great either

Dude, are there going to be four Division Series sweeps this year? That would be crazy!
EDIT: I guess the Yankees didn't want to be part of something awesome.

Wow, Torre is on the hot seat huh? Wang is to start tomorrow on 3 days rest tomorrow. I don't know about this one. Seems a little short sighted to me. The Yankee sluggers should have no problems connecting with Byrd. Why risk a bad start by a tired Wang, and compromise him for the ALCS if they get there? This also translates into Andy going on 3 days rest if they win tomorrow. Shady business imo.
Personally, I would have gone with Moose with Kennedy waiting to spell him as Hughes spelled Clemens today.
I think Steinbrenner needs to keep his mouth shut. Thanks to his comments, Torre is more now interested in just getting out of this series rather than focussing on a WS.
Whatever, the Sox are firing on all cylinders right now and will cruise through the ALCS regardless of whether it is the Indians or Yankees.
Go Sox!

This is perfect for Wang
He is a sinkerballer and needs to keep the ball down so he needs to be tired.Plus his record at the stadium is much better
God I hate the Red Sux

Well then....
I had Wang down for 2.1 innings. I guess I overestimated him. Sinkerballer or not, 3 days rest is really pushing it. However, he sufferred from the same issues as he did in game 1. He could not keep the ball down. Nerves and overthrowing I suspect. I wonder if he will be vilified as A Rod has been in the past?
How can you hate the Sox? You live in FL. Judging by the crowds, it looks like the Sox are the home team there.

Well, the ALCS should end up being quite a battle with both teams having all their starters rested up.
I'm also looking forward to the NLCS. The Rockies and D-backs should make for an exciting series.

I no longer talk baseball at this time of year. It's so...hard.
That would be quite hard since they haven't been in the playoffs for a while. I have been fortunate that the Twins have been pretty good this decade. Well except for this year.

I'm just tired of all the Yankees and Red Sox talk of being in the World Series. I just want new teams in it. The Rockies have never been there and Cleveland hasn't been there in a while.

To me the two teams from the NL are boring
Too bad the Phillies and Cubs died out so early

Cleveland has been there more in the last 30 years then the sox who just have 2 appearances.
I wish the sox bandwagoners would find a new team. They are thoroughly anoying. I almost like it better prior to 2004 we were a hard luck but more respected fan base.
Anyway, here's to Borowski f'n it up for the Indians in the ALCS as he certainly appears to be the weak link.

I know Cleveland has been there more times in that time period. I'm just tired of ass the talk of the same teams over the past couple years. Yankees this, Red Sox that, blah blah blah.

The way I look at is this
By beating the Yanks, Cleveland must go all the way
That way it won't feel as bad losing to an eventual World Champ

I am not a huge NL fan, but the stroylines with the dbacks and rockies this year make the NLCS almost as entertaining as the slugging and pitching are going to be in the ALCS.
One team has one 18 of 19, and grabbed the WC in a one game play off. The other statistically should be in last place, and yet is in first. Boggles the mind.
Beckett vs Sabathia. Tonight is going to be awesome!

Man, how many of you are surprised at how far the Rockies have made it?
I mean, neither the D'backs nor the Rockies are great teams, but the Rockies are very close to their first WS, where they will promptly go down to the
