ok from bits and pieces of info, ive managed to pull this together, the plot is as follows: the movie (which i think is titled 1/18/08) takes place in new york and the rest of the world but mostly in ny. a new japanese slushie drink named slusho has everyone in an uproar, its main ingredients come from the ocean floor, plot 1: the drink makes people evil and turns them into mad superpowered villains or, plot 2: the slusho corp digs down to deep in the ocean floor and awakes a monster, called the parasite and it goes to new york and destroys everything or plot 3: the slusho corp takes too much of the ocean floor and puts the earth off balance and meteorites get flung into earth. either way it could be a combo of the three thats what i think it is after a lot of research

I'm going to say NO I really dont think slusho will have anything to do with it and I believe the monster will attack only America.

Plot 4: Our hero, his friend, and their time traveling companion are on their way to get some Slusho, in their giant robot, when a giant mechano-spider thing lands on earth. Due to the bumbling of the hero, he and his giant robot end up smashing the spider-thing, and the Slusho machine. They go to look for another Slusho machine, and the spider-thing rebuilds itself, since it can't be destroyed. It ends with New Jersey being destroyed by our hero.

Ditto, the show was one in a million. If only Cartoon Network execs realized that the cartoon was made for the older crowd who get 90% of the jokes made, they could have slapped it on Adult Swim or something.

Thundercats would be somewhat of a "high profile" movie, why would they shoot a movie like that from the perspective of hand held cameras?

JJ Abrams announced at Comic-Con that there is "a series of four posters" for Cloverfield. Each one has a different tag line - MONSTROUS, FURIOUS, TERRIFYING, and BARBAROUS(?).

I think the confusion comes from your quote where you mention "Spring Creek Productions" and the thundercats movie which have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

Ok here is what I know, the movie's title is still unknown, the movie's plot other then its a monster movie or sorts, is unknown. They are doing an incredible job keeping stuff under wraps and misdirecting, almost to the point politics should take notes, seriously.

There are many beliefs out there, some think its Parasite Eve the movie, some think its based on the old game Rampage, some think its just one giant godzilla like creature, or even a movie about the 4 horsemen of the apocolipse even.

The whole movie is going to be shot "blair witch style" meaning they'll be first person view through a personal movie camera, and there is a good chance we won't ever actually fully SEE whatever this monster or monsters look like. I like the idea myself, hitchcock said it best "the horror movie stops being scary when you see the monster". Its being shot this way for realistic nature and because its kind of a statement that with the internet and personal digital video cameras being so available, anyone can be a news reporter.

My personal beliefs? I think its more then likely Rampage, there are three distinct roars you hear, the fact there is no way one creature could do all the damage thats done, plus its on land at the start, there is no way it would run for the sea to get to Liberty island to knock the head off the statue then be back and close enough for that guy to yell "I've seen it, its alive, its huge!" near the end.

My guess is its either that or about the four horsemen coming to earth and pwning the human race.

Oh and because Cloverfield is a level in Rampage.
