I. Loved. Rampage. And that's all I'm going to say about that. Abrams however did say later on he would show the REAL trailer. Makes me wonder if it's the same stunt Bay pulled when he gave us the first look at Transformers involving the Mars Rover, which in truth had veeeeeeeeery little to do with the actual movie. More than likely, only part of the film will be done on handycams, but that's just my common sense talking.

i wasnt trying to imply this was stated by you.
to me, 'Original work' is very vauge .. any adaptation or rendention of "Rampage" could very well be seen and received as original work.

Based on what was described in the Wiki article, the basis of this movie was conveived while Abrams was in a toy store in Japan (looking at monster toys .. godzilla, swamp monster .. wolf-man .. etc)

Ok....here's my $0.03....

It looks like it'll be cool, maybe.....but I have no clue what that could possibly be. I can tell one thing, though: from the pic of the mangled statue of liberty....the thing's got 3 claws on it's arms(front legs?) & it's gotta be big enough to give an underhanded swipe to the statue....which I'm guessing means the statue, if completely intact, would just about come up to somewhere around its waist....provided that it's upper limbs are in relative proportions to that of a human's.

But that's about all I've got.

I noticed that on the pix of the posters that were posted from comic con..
Whatever it is it appears to have 3 claws.

And it seems that another possible title has surfaced..
