that way those who want to horde can horde(but it doesn't really have any point past strategic stockpiling for when we lose the sectors that give those weapons)

we don't have to worry about there being too many weapons in the database, becuase only weapons bought will exist, when you cash in a weapon it's entry in the database is removed.there won't be the 40,000 data entries in the shop doing nothing except take up space.

and i really can't see how you'd exploit it...

I just started too and it seems like there isn't anything that I can either afford or equip. I'm just starting out, there should be some kind of basic item I could buy? Yah think?

you've got a basic fist, and a basic foot, they will serve you well, weapons are so un balanced the vast majority of them are crap, and not worth bothering with, even if they'got really long cool sounding names.

the problem with having stuff that doesn't require upgrades but improves performance is that it slightly un balances the game, in a perfect world a one str punch, should do the same damage as a one fp gun.

i sent you 100k so you can afford pretty much any weapon in existence if you get the upgrades that allow you to wield them
