It is a pain to find missions.

Probably because everyone is sitting around waiting for someone else to generate them.

I know I've played less in the last couple days because I keep waiting for the "right" missions. I have to keep reminding myself not to do that.

Yeah, I activate a good spread of levels, fling the less effective ones in the middle of the level range in the missions with the biggest range of levels, and hope to generate something for the others. I normally leave myself one or 2 and refresh a few times if I haven't found a tournie mission too.
Tournies are not about XP as usual.

I was always under the impression it didn't generate new missions until you put someone in the existing ones. I also haven't found too many tourney qualified missions.

If you have an active tf it will not generate a new one til you use that one or it times out.

Back then there were so many players that missions were constantly being generated, rarely saw the screen with no missions.

Also in your defense it wasn't always like that.

Back in the dark ages the site used to spit out missions whenever it felt like it. The refresh system was put in place to prevent a bunch of dead (read empty)logs from accumulating as well as to ensure there was always a mission ready to go for someone that wanted one...

But yeah it's still been this way for around 10 years so...

How long do the bot advantages stay in play for? Is it only till they recieve a new one?
