I'm worried that i'll have to start from scratch and that it's not fair that i have to give up my current weapons (or will i get to keep them?) and my hard earnt XP and Energon

THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS ME FROM LEAVING IS MY LOVE OF TRANSFORMERS, so will there be like a sort of Mini-game where longtime players can use what they have now?

Actually, most of the long term players have voiced their opinions and most of them said that as long as they could keep their bios and names, they'll be happy.

The main reason for the reset, and why you cannot keep weapons/xp/energon/altmodes etc is that the backend is going through a huge upgrade to actually allow for these new styles of play like the Battle for Cybertron and The Pit. Porting over all the data and adapting it to the new back end would make for a nightmare.

The "[only]" thing I would like to see is the ability to put mini pics like these...



...on our TransFormers character profiles to show them in robot mode as well.


Besides... whats wrong with the X-Ray Laser's?? They do moderate to heavy damage an have a nice short recharge. I think they are good. All my team still uses them... well save for one that favors a sword for style.

I just had an idea for a feature which could be cool in HMWv2: the Tubes of Transference, as seen in Marvel TF G1 US #4 (attached below). Tubes of Transference would be used to transfer HP from one character to another. Say your favourite character is at 40% and you want to put him in the Arena. You can't since he's not at full, so you transfer HP from a less important character and your fav is off to the Arena.

It's not an alternative to the CR Chamber (since the one giving HP will have to be repaired), it's just a way to heal important characters without having to pay a CR bill (and preferably Transferring would be faster than a visit to the R Chamber).

Only thing is, it would have to have certain imposed limits, like a Level 0 can't fully repair a Level 3, you know?

Hmm, what an interesting idea!

Why not let the medics of the teams repair the bots? I mean that would cut down the use and the time of CR Chambers.

I'm up for the reset. SORRY I just want to have my bots set up differantly thats all.

Please let us have more bots My own team 12 out of 50+ bots, O.K. 13 if you counted X-Prime that was blown to microdust cause I wanted Streets actived, and the fact that he killed or wounded the ones that aren't in the active list so the number is like 24+. Minus the ones that my roommates are using.

Having just 12 Minicons would be great since a few of my bots have bios listing Minicons that they have...
Of course in the comics the Minis had somesort of safety measure in place. Are we going to see the combiner teams. I think there was 4 all together, sword, shield, blaster and Perceptor. That's all.

After the Big Reboot as I have come to call it, will I be able to collect the old names I had on a previous team? You see, I want to switch my team to Autobots at this point and I have a locked team I would like to switch the names with.

I'd be more interested in seeing these kind of images: just because they match the current layout but we'll see what happens

For now, we're sticking with the 12 char limit, however who knows what's gonna happen down the road.

I get to keep Names and Bios on V2 (Yay) but loose alt modes. That is actually vaguely annoying as my first five characters (Including Big Grim, my Avatar if you will) are using Dinobot Alt modes. I have a reason for this.

Is there any way I can either keep those five or get them reinstated in V2 itself as they are kinda critical to how I view these characters I have created? I mean, Big Grim is in my sig. That is how he looks and I'd hope I could keep him looking like that. Any chance? Pretty please? With a cherry on top?

Sorry but no. The main reason is earlier on this page, but if I start making exceptions to you, then I'd have to make them for others too. All alts will be wiped, and you'll have to wait for them to come along in the rotator like everyone else.

I understand that. My only problem for me is that if we are faction specific (I imagine we are) the Dinobot alts will never come into rotation for the Cons, correct?

If so, ah well. Time to rewrite my team bio along with Big Grims. No worries. Sorry if I appeared to be a whinger. I guess you get that a lot.

Well..........i guess i could go back to x-ray laser's.......there okay...............i did fine using one before my electric cannon............i can always get enough enegon and xp to get it back anyway........and i'll be able to powerlink.......yeah i can stand it.......mabye even enjoy it.......yeah.....this could be good

As would kind of be rather limiting. As the bot form should be the most impressive looking pic.


BUT [ONLY IF] it comes to it... if is the only option for botmode pics... you would get my vote also, only if we could pic diff colors for the bot modes colors. as alot of bots have diff colors in bot mode.

Sometime around the release of the live action movie, give or take.

It's been delayed so I'd say sometime before August.

no. later now as OS is bogged down restoring the lost accounts. OS is releasing things as he gets round to them, Kremzeek, Donations, alt rotator, the groundwork of the minicons. more will follow.

I think before August is more likely. OS's last post on the matter was that he couldn't complete it within the 2 weeks before the deadline he originally set himself.
