cos, it takes much work to install things like the pit and carrying it over to v2 would be a nightmare, thats what Mkall told me, or it was omthing like that

When and if Bot modes are added, how will Cassettes be handled?

Will Laserbeak, Ravage etc be selectable Robot modes and give you the option to use the cassette Altmode currently available in the Altmode table.

Or and I'm hoping, will the Cassette Mode is added to the Robot mode Table and players can select any alt mode for their Casstte tf's.

Just thought i'd ask cos this might have been overlooked but it's probably already come up.

It all sounds quite exciting.
I was sorta glad the game hadnt changed that much in the 2 years i didnt play, had a chance to jump right back in there.
But still, the idea of V2 is thrilling to say the least, i cant wait to see what news it will bring. :D

Will each commander be assigned a section of the planet that's theirs to control at the start? I know the factions will be, but it'd be kinda cool if we could show some personal conquest by expanding our personal terratory, as well as lose terratory.

You wouldn't have to have terratory to play, you could basically run arround as a free agent, helping the rest of your faction, but it would be kinda cool to say that you controlled a section.

And by section, I don't mean a entire named area, but like, the entire planet is divided into hex's, and each player at the start has one hex to their own. As players lose their terratory or leave the game, new players could take over the open terratory, or challenge a player for one. Generally challenges should be against a opposing player.

The way I understand the planetside conquest working, it sounds like this would be a workable addition.

Third question from me, while I'm waiting for a answer on the other two, when v2 rolls about will the team kill per day formula be fixed? I know it's not a high priority, but it's something I'm curious about.

For now, bots are bots, alts are alts. I realize that the cassettes are a grey area, but for now it's a low-priority item.

The ranking idea has been discussed, b ut it's something that will most likely show up after v2 is stable

I do not think that individual territories are part of the initial release, however that's something that I'd like to see happen sometime down the line.

After the reset, you will have the ability to re-choose your side. Choices are Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals, Predacons. Whether or not Maximals are a subfaction of the Autobots or not, I've yet to get an answer.

It wouldn't surpise me none if the Maximals just have Beast Alt-Modes. As long as they get an Alt-Mode with Repair as a Tactic. Not that I care I'm going to repick Autobot as my team... :grin:

I'll save you the time Mkall ;;)

Your team can only be Predacon OR Decepticon. There will be specific missions for each faction but there will be 4 SEPERATE, COMPLETE FACTIONS. You cannot have a faction within a faction mixing autobot and maximal team members.

I'll explain the purpose behind this in the next couple of weeks, but just know that there will be 4 factions in HMW2 instead of just 2.

So :MAX: and :PRED: will be seperate factions from :BOT: and :CON: instead of being "upgrades" with in the older factions as was the plan with Glyph. :-?

So that begs the question; are there going to be :CON: vs :PRED: and :BOT: vs :MAX: missions, or is that going to be reserved for the challenge pit?
