Yup, you ill keep the names/bios you have from v1, but you're more than welcome to change them to whatever you want.

3) As everyone will suddenly have around 12 LV-0 characters and €2500 burning a hole in their pocket, will there be any basic weapons to buy after the first 5 minutes of V2 being up, given how hard it is to buy them even now? I realise this isn't hugely significant in the long term and most basic weapons are not that great anyway, but having one character with an x-ray laser, I can definitely see the difference it makes. Basic weapons will be the only thing to separate characters in those crazy early days, and the only thing to spend your money on till one of your chars accrues at least 1000XP. Will there be enough to go round, or am I just seeing things from a skewed perspective, (seeing as none of my characters have any Firepower or Skill yet)?

There had better be a good amount of weapons, and from what I've heard, there should be ways to earn weapons so we shouldn't see an empty armoury too often.

Just when is V2 gonna come around anyways? I mean...I read a few posts claiming it was tomorrow...then again knowing how wonky the code can be, we wont get it til much later..

With respect to treaties, who forms/breaks these treaties? The statistical leaders of a faction? (points-wise?) Or will it be referenum within a faction? Or will it be completely out of the control of the players?

Weapon: Twin Sonic Cannons
Every now and then a story arc may require that two factions attempt to join together to fight an enemy. In that case a poll will appear in your factions' forum saying yay or nay to the alliance. If the majority votes yes, then the two factions will come together to fight for a certain amount of time. Kinda like they do in the quint missions.

After seeing a couple questions as to why the preds/cons have to fight one another, as well as the bot/maximals have to fight one another, I've added further descriptions to the factions on the first post. Check 'em out

So in a way its a 4 way war against everyone at times which probably be base on what missions you go in. Game got more appealing just now. :grin:

Erm... D&D alignments are lame enough when they're in D&D. Do we really need them in HMW as well? The rest of the descriptions seem alright, but can the alignments be ditched?

I don't know if this has been suggessted but.....myabe a coutdown timer to when the alt modes will rotate each time, or at least shwo the date when they are supposed to?

It was just a guideline to help me figure out how to type up each faction. Besides, depending on how the politics between the factions go, those initial guidelines will change beyond recognition

So you reckon everyone should be forced to fight hand-to-hand till they've earned enough experience to use a weapon? I'd've thought you'd at least be able to choose a basic weapon, like a laser pistol or sword...

I like the extended bios but now I'm tempted to go Predacon. I'm more of a fan of Decepticons like Ratbat, Shockwave & Soundwave and the Predacons seem to embody that style of warfare. Oh what to do! :???:

I'd like to be in my own sub faction called 'The Steel Starscream Empire' after my Main Character in HMW, with a cool logo which is the decepticon one but dark red But the chances of that happening are 0-none
