The distribution for nemesis prime changed. He changed from being a walmart exclusive to being a fan channel toy, which means only a available online. Like CW Groove and most Selects toys. So people waiting to find him at retail will probably be waiting forever

Thanks! That would be really appreciated. Because my Walmart suck so hard in their TF department, it's like a black hole.

Combining new and old! Dug out my Autobot base from way back in the day and added NF Autobots to it. Obviously, some of them should be facing to the front but for capturing all them, I turned a couple fo them around.

I really hated Siege Optimus Prime's truck mode. But on Nemesis Prime, it's perfection. Seriously. He's a strong contrast to ER Optimus.

Too bad none of his accessories are usable in truck mode.

Sure they are, just need some imagination (and low standards). They aren't great, but workable solutions.

First up, the arm blasters do barely work up on top. Sort of like the very tip of the peg into the hole slightly cock-eyed, but holding on.



Next up you can mount them on the sides and use Slitherfang as a connector for the trailer. The first option using just Slitherfang is just okay, but the front wheels of the trailer do not touch the ground.



But combining NP's blaster and Slitherfang allows you to make the cab sort of like a heavy duty tow truck, that is pulling a trailer for some reason.

I would not plug the swords on top, but that last picture is the best solution, with snake-guy as the conector and the smokestacks guns on the side.

After about 3 weeks of stalking the toy sections of the closest 4-5 Walmarts to me and finding Wheeljack telling me I'm too late, the one closest to me who never had any signs of wave 2 finally stocked their toy section and I snagged Bee and Elita-1, then immediately canceled my pre-order for Bee. Whew, glad I don't have to rely on Walmart for a pre-order anymore.

Can you mount the Nemesis weapons using the trailer's vehicle attack mode (where the turret is mounted to the trailer front)?

I'm personally disappointed by Nemesis not using the Galaxy Upgrade mold tho.

Yeah, but we get that all time with most Nemesis Primes, with POTP Nemesis being kind of the apex of that idea what with how Netflix Nemesis recycles that version's accessories wholecloth.

A Galaxy Upgrade Nemesis Prime would be both an evil Optimus twin and an enhanced version that says "I am your evil twin, but bigger and better than you in every way!" and it would have been something more unique and original since the original Cybertron mold was never given the "Galaxy Scourge" treatment.

Are those 3P add-on pieces under the trailer by the wheels? My ER trailer doesn't have those.

Every BM has been used twice except for Smashdown and the recently released Doublecrosser. I'm hoping the Primal Voyager for wave 3 comes with some Smashdown repaints.

Reprolabels, Shapeway parts, a back piece for the cab, and the Select accessory set.
That's a nearly 300$ Generations Optimus if I count everything.

In my headcanon, Siege Optimus dosent exist. So having Nemesis in the Siege mold make him different enough, and not just a straight repaint.

Still, a Nemesis Galaxy Prime would be really nice to get. Maybe as a Select? This would be easy enough to do and I'd buy it for sure.

I'm not sure if anything was stated officially, but just comparing how the wave 1 and wave 2 leader spoiler pack have gone, it is pretty clear something changed for them.

For Wave 1, Walmart was the only option and they realized immediately they can't organize their toy aisles to fit something large like the spoiler packs and many stores sent them right to clearance. They did not become available from anywhere else till long after Walmart screwed up their distribution internally.

For wave 2, Walmart is not carrying them in stores, online only (confirmed by some Walmart employees on this site). Pulse and a few other retailers had access early enough to give pre-orders. That right there should tell you something is different for how they distributed wave 2 without needing any kind of official statement.

I actually think the packaging might be another reason why Walmart shied away from putting them on the shelves. I remember trying to find them on clearance and every single one was opened and some were missing the top of the box. I had assumed this was mainly due to simple theft. However, once I got the wave 2 Spoiler pack, when I took it out of the shipping box, I picked it up by the top of the box and the whole bottom fell right off. Two pieces of tape were all that was holding the top on and the weight of the bottom was no match for the tape. While the packaging looks cool, it is a really bad design to be on the shelves and handled by people.

No official announcement needed. This figure is available through fan channels while the previous spoiler pack was not, that's all there is to it.
