turbomagnus wrote:I had a thought, maybe we could pull off some kind of narrative campaign? I don't have a clear idea, but campaign missions could include things like
- attacking enemy bases (represented by cityformers/Battle Stations) with the side who has the greater number of enemy base kills becomes the attacker...
- Silence The Guns, with weapon-formers being the targets to represent attacks on a defender's anti-air and anti-tank guns or raids to destroy an attacker's siege guns...
- supply run/city under siege where the attacker's aircraft (helicopters, planes, birds, spaceships) and the defender's trucks are the targets being counted (representing supply convoys under air attack and anti-aircraft artillery fire). Whichever side has the most qualifying kills determines what kind of mission the next round involves... (Attacker making a massive push against a supply-starved city or a revitalized defender attempting a breakout, for example)
Thoughts?
Dragonslayer wrote:You how historically the Decepticons have had a lot of flyers and the Autobots have a lot of cars and trucks? It’s essentially that. For a week the Bots would hunt Cons with flying alts and the Cons would hunt Bots with ground-based alts. I thought it was a simple enough idea that tied in well to the whole “War for Cybertron” theme.
And to give it a little twist, I thought if we decided to fight the enemy on their terms we get rewarded. So like if a Bot flyer defeats a Con flyer it’s two points, and same for a Con groundpounder killing a Bot on the ground.

Sounds like fun to me XD I have a question, though, regarding my maximal team. I imagine land animals would count as ground units and flying would count as aerial units, but what would my sea creatures count as? Or would they not count at all, considering they would be the 'Bot equivalent of a ship or submarine which wouldn't really be considered aerial or ground?

Dragonslayer wrote:Sure, we could count air and ground animals alongside their vehicular counterparts. There wouldn’t be any sea-based alts among the eligible targets.

Yay! Thank you XD I love my Maximals and Predacons

Think we've had enough of sea based alts for the moment

Maybe change the word to WHEELIE but I don't know that there are that many active players that start with "E".
Could make it a MATRIX quest but you have the same problem with "X".

Well, Bots/Maximals would be hunting Xenos Prime relentlesslyWho might you be able to hunt, though?

Could make it three rounds or a phrase - 'Heavy Metal War', for that matter...

all 3 no 2 out of 3 and end stuff

Think we might have a winner here.

I'm still trying to parse steve-speak.
Anytime he goes past 'da' the translation gets dicey for me

He's saying the winner should be whoever gets all three words and not best two out of three.
