Agreeing... with... Burn. Again!!
The universe can not handle this much imbalance! Pretty soon, its just going to implode.

I'll make a deal with ya. Every time you agree with me, I get to kick you in the nuts and call you a wanker!![]()
*runs up and kicks Lucky in the nuts* Wanker.![]()
(And see, I can say that without offending Lucky because he knows how to handle a joke!)

Fixed.

Sounds like a good title for a sitcom ...
You are cracking me up...seriously.lkavadas wrote:Y'know it's not even the gif images I care about. What actually and truly bothers me is that OS's decision was influenced by two people despite any overall community input whatsoever.
As I said before, two people crying in chat had the power to influence the entire development process of this game. Do y'all understand why I keep labeling this as an "irresponsible decision?"
I hope in the future when a change is going to happen the devs are at least honest about letting the community know their opinion doesn't matter.
So yeah, it's pretty lame. At least I know what to expect. And if I ever want to have anything changed I know can just cry my little eyes out in front of OS and probably get my way.
/shrug
Edit: Btw, I was under the impression that when V2 hits everything is being reset. Is this no longer the case?

lkavadas wrote:You're only admitted influence on your decision was a few "discussions" and from what I can gather in the thread it appears that Dynamax, QuietStorm, and Caelus were the influence.
I couldn't care less if you take everything back and apologize.lkavadas wrote:Prove me wrong and I'll take everything back and apologize. And I'm hardly going to judge your entire character based on one decision, but I am going to be critical as hell about this decision because it was a poor one.
3 people huh? Yeah, your perception of the "discussions" is incorrect. Going into details on any "discussions" with you would be inappropriate as it appears you have no problem calling people out.lkavadas wrote:You're only admitted influence on your decision was a few "discussions" and from what I can gather in the thread it appears that Dynamax, QuietStorm, and Caelus were the influence.
If "whining people" dictated the direction of HMW you would be the task lead.lkavadas wrote:Is my deductive reasoning hitting close to the mark? I'd really like to be proven wrong in this case. That people whining in chat can't dictate the direction of HMW's lead programmer but from everything I've gathered in this thread that's the only conclusion I can come to.
Could you shed a little more light on how this happened other than "...a few discussions?" Or is that really all there is? Because if that's it, well, I'm right on the mark in my criticism.
lkavadas wrote:You're only admitted influence on your decision was a few "discussions" and from what I can gather in the thread it appears that Dynamax, QuietStorm, and Caelus were the influence.
lkavadas wrote:So your response is just that shedding any more light on it is inappropriate? Why? I'm not asking for a transcript. I'd just like to know how many people overall brought this up as a concern?
And during this process why did you preclude any community involvement in making this decision in favor of "discussions behind closed doors?" Of which sharing any details is apparently inappropriate.
Sorry OS, but your post really just confirmed everything I figured.
And attacking me for whining? The only thing I'm bitching about is how little community input went into your decision in this instance which is a very valid complaint. I think I speak for a larger group of people than you suspect when I address my concern on how large segments of your player base are apparently passed up when it comes to game decisions. I think that's unfair. I guess it's the American in me coming out there but I'm not going to let you make me feel ashamed of it.
And calling people out? ROFL, your damn right I'll hold people personally accountable for the decisions they make.
