Call it a draw and move on. Opinions cannot be right or wrong, they can only be well supported by fact or not.
This can be taken either way, Tramp can be considered right, that is how I was thinking of it, but sto_vo_kor_2000 et al. I can see where the Star Wars influence comes in as well. However, unless you are Simon Furman or Don Figueroa you do not know-- so you need to concede the stalemate and return the thread to discussion, not baiting and attacks.

First of all what do you mean by "but sto_vo_kor_2000 et al"?Also I wasnt baiting or attacking and if you read all my post's you would see that I stated numerous time that I personaly beleaved something simular to what Tramp [and now you] was saying about what Sunstorm might have been hinting at.......what I've been debating with Tramp is that the orignal poster was looking for any plot hole or line that could have suggested to the readers that Meg's And Screamer were father and son and that tramp said that there was no such line ever suggested. The fact is that even thou that line is open to interpretation ,because it was never finish, It could have and did lead to that school of thought for many readers [my self not included]
I wasnt the one trying to force my point of view down other's throat's.I wasnt the one trying to speek from a position knowing all the facts and I wasnt the one who said that every one who got from that line that they were father and son must have misunderstood the statement.I'm also not the one who cant admit when I've made a mistake.
TSo before you enter a debait maybe you should read all the post in it.Tramp and myself had had these kinds of debates before and I dont thing that ether of us thing that we're attacking each other.

Brother you need to calm down a little. I did read the entire thing and you kept putting in big bold letter that he was wrong.
I am not saying he did not have it coming to him, but repeatedly telling him he is wrong like that is not going to make him suddenly switch to your side.sto_vo_kor_2000 wrote:

Are you telling me that these statements are not baiting someone to bite back at you?
I did see that you said you thought his ideas were right, but why can you not just let the issue thing go? Are you expecting him to say that you are right? If you've dealt with Tramp in the past you know that's not going to happen so why beat the dead horse into derailment.
"et al." refers to the others that you are defending in your debates.
You don't see how when you brought up BUSH you opened flood gates that didn't need to be? Damolisher piles on and then it goes astray from there.
I was not going after just you, if you didn't notice. I mentioned Damolisher and Tramp also. I know we all like to read our own names only, but check it out, I did not refer only to you, I simply asked you guys, ALL OF YOU GUYS-- Damolisher, Tramp, and you to let it hang as a stalemate.
You having a rough day or something? I barely mentioned anything, I just asked for it to be on topic BY EVERYONE and for you to stop calling him out WITH BIG RED LETTERS!.
All that serves to do is embarrass and get someone worked up, like what you tried to do when you were telling me that I need to read the whole thing--in large letters. I did. Over and over, and over, which is why I asked you guys to call it a draw. It can lead to a pile on, which Damolisher gladly joined in on.

Please just let it go. I should not have said anything and we don't need to start piling on Sto_ because that was never my intention.
sto_ I'm sorry this went as far as it did. I was not trying to come down on you, I was simply making a suggestion, as I am not a mod, I do not have the powers to do anything else.
I simply wanted it back on topic, and for you to stop railing on TRAMP even if he is your bud...cause it sure didn't seem like it.
Let's just get the thread back on level please, okay?

Dont worry about it.........And Tramp and myself have been kind of friendly with each other on a few occasions....we just debate a lot.

Damolisher wrote:My bad, but in any instance, that's two topics Tramp's been proven wrong by Sto_Vo_kor alone, and he still doesn't want to say "I'm sorry, I was wrong." He does it to everyone, and it's not fair that Sto_Vo gave him the proof to prove his statement wrong, and have Tramp STILL no conceding anything.
Anyways, enough with the odes to High Command. let's get this bad boy back on track.
And that Dreamwave theory, hmm, interesting. I dunno.

I did not think they were allowed to use the japanese bots yet, that it could have been in the future plans though, so I suppose it could have been him there.
If they were going to use him, what were they going to do with Mega and Giga? Robots, or Tfs, or something else. Overlord have his own personality, or just a blank slate that Mega and Giga controlled?
I want to know what was going to happen with the fembots? Integrated after they were freed, or continuing to be their own sub-group type thing...
Makes me sad thinking about the fight between Predaking, Bruticus, and Sky Lynx, I want more....

Oh, and another plot point happened in the next issue, since we're kinda on the subject(the excert was from #5 btw):
Sunstorm mentions that Bumblebee is actually another one of the chosen!
Sunstorm: My purity has been sacrificed in exchange for the dark gifts intended for my brother, thus dooming me. But now that Starscream has cast me from the light, I can see more clearly the radiance deep within you.
Bumblebee: Snappy comeback I don't feel like typing.
Sunstorm: Mock me while you are able, but you will never learn the extent of your ablities. The oracle has favored you while betraying me! For this grievous injustice, you must be punished! Truly, I am sparing you a lifetime of misery. The path of righteous would lonly lead you to torment....As I have learned firsthand.
Then Sunstorm blows his own arm off, due to the reaction of Starscream's null rays and the goo in the planet.
So, we were gonna see Bumblemus Maximus or something like that maybe? As a Bumblebee fan, I gotta say I'm intrigued, and a bit surprised I didn't catch that a long time ago.
I didnt know there was anything left of Superion and I had no idea that the government, him and Devastator in their custody. What issue is that showen?Duke of Luns wrote:Duke of Luns wrote:Wasn't Overlord supposed to be in that pit? It would have been cool to see him.

Hate quoting myself, but I think my comment kinda got lost, and I've never heard this brought up before. Was Sunstorm just going crazy, and Bumblebee was just the nearest target for him to vent on, or could there have been a deeper meaning? It probably would have led the Bumblebee becoming Goldbug, now that I think about it though.
And the dangling plot lines really do hurt, specially if you read #9 and #10. While I admit that Dreamwave isn't as great as I thought it was when it was first out, it really did look like we were finally gonna get some classic plots, as it actually was getting better. Megatron had come back with the Preds, Shockwave was put in his place, Soundwave spoke, Blitzwing was scrapped(but looked like he was gonna come back with Sixshot), and the Dinobots would have come back the next issue. Scourge's role was never actually reavealed(though he probalby was gonna be a herlad). And let's not forget that Scourge was in the custody of government, along with Devastator and Superion, who were all being rebuilt. It might have been Transformer vs. Transformer, but on a whole new level...
So much potential good stuff was on the way....
