alright, this is the new (I don't think it is the first) Rumble is red, Frenzy is blue thread. or Rumble is blue, Frenzy is red. whatever. just... don't break any rule, alright?

Question! Is there somebody on your end, like say maybe your sister or a friend, that may have sparked this? I'm just curious as to what would bring this 'totally out of left field' topic up. The only ones who know there is really any red/blue debate are old-timers like myself who were around when the original G1 Rumble/Ravage and Frenzy/Lazerbeak packs were realeased. And that was so long ago that the lines have blurred and memory is such that Frenzy has really always seemed red and Rumble was always blue just because of the G1 cartoon.

Just be ready because some smart-alec Movie person is gonna jump and say something like "No, Frenzy is silver".

Personally though, I always liked the Rumble = Red / Frenzy = Blue gimmick. That's how they were originally packaged and it is sooo much easier to remember.

The G1 show animators either chose to make a change or they made a mistake.

I'll give you a somewhat more detailed response than Name_Violation. I'm a little bit more aware of how new you are to all this than what he is. I can also see the confusion since there were actually two scenes in the '86 movie in which the Cassette brothers both used 'Pile Drivers'. Technically, only Rumble (the blue one in the cartoons) has the Pile Driver Arms. Frenzy creates a high pitched grating sound from internal mechanisms. I can't tell you why exactly they both had the drivers in the '86 movie (probably just because it is a cool looking feature and you can't decently draw or animate what Frenzy does) but the red one was still Frenzy.

I hope that helped clear it up a bit primusminor22 and I'll whack N_V upside the head next time I come across him. (which should be very shortly)
