kendragon wrote:I think for the DVD release of the movie they should add a text scroller to the start ala star wars... then they could explain in it all the stuff that we dont really 'get' in the movie... like why the allspark creates evil robots and stuff...
Auto Bot wrote:It's Bay's poor storyline that's creating all this confusion.

Now, I'm looking at the script, which was written years before Michael Bay signed on.
Strangely enough, it only says "Roberto Orci" and "Alex Kurtzman."
Also, it was a good story.

I don't think that would be needed. Use your imagination.

We'd have to get George Lucas into the game to do that scroller. He's the one and only expert in that department.
I'd imagine maybe Lucas even have that procedure copyrighted!

Nope. The original tf movie had scrolling at the start and it worked well, especially with Victor Carolli's narration of it. And that came after Star Wars.
And there was nothing wrong with the scenes. This was the only thing that I didn't get, which is why I thought the Allspark was evil. I didn't figure Megatron's essence would be in Earth machinery. But that's me not joining the dots, nothing to do with the script.
If anything, the scenes were filled with too much. But then, the film wouldn't be as brilliant as it was. Which is why DVD's come in handy. You can watch the fights over again and watch things you missed in the cinema. Which always happens. I like it. It gives you extra joy watching it through again.

Now that's a way of making the movie a big blockbuster in the cinema, and a big blockbuster DVD sale!

If so, then Bay as director, screwed up the scenes.

All of it. If you were the director, how would you have done it?
I'm not trying to be an ass, I just wanted to see how you pictured it.

Long live George Lucas!
George Lucas is an idiot, and IMO in the same category of bad directors as Uwe Boll.
