In fact, most Blackarachnias starting with TM2.

TM2 Blackie remains the best fembot ever IMO. Barely any shellforming and a brilliant legs transformation.

Strika being the perfect example. I wish all the Fem Bots were re-designed like her and less ..Kiss Player/stripper.

Wouldnt that be the Michael Bay stuff then? I remember a lot of people disliking those designs, and those of Beast Machines.

Personally I would be fine with more obviously alien designs though. Thing is, if the characters are going to be based on humanoid forms, then one should be able to look at a female character without any context what so ever and see a female character. And looking female doesn't automatically mean sexualized.

The main problem with the Bayformers designs (aside from awful visual gags) was their lack of a vibrant colour palette.
I've always championed that the Vehicon's were the purest vision of what Cybertronians should look like.

Beyond my bugbear that gender shouldn't be applied to robots in the first place.

I'm not going to demonstrate half of the search engine results for BA or any of the subsequent FemBot designs, to make my point. There is a difference between looking feminine and sexualised. Robots with boobs and curved thighs, to me falls directly into the latter.

Come on, not the "sexualised" cringe debate again...

Also, as if the guys are exempt.

It's creepy where ever it is applied. Transformers are only humanoid as they are bipedal. Humanising them visually, in that way, caters to a certain demographic and nothing more.

Seriously though, I do want more Strika figures. And I'm choked that I missed out on getting a Cyberverse Clobber figure. Honestly RID Strongarm is a good design that I would like to see a redo of.

Honestly though, Legacy Strika is a figure I NEED. Also maybe include Scorn (the last knight) and Slash (PoTP) in Legacy!

Now I find myself wanting a Headmasters version of Burnout. Make it Burnout with Dia, or Dia with Burnout mech. Titanmasters do scale well with the Legacy toy after all

If we're talking about Crasher, how about TF-izing Leader-1 and cy-Kill? I'd be into that.

I'd like more unique molded female-proportioned TFs too. That aren't just recolors. Preferably Decepticons!

I have a bunch of ideas for making a far better Battleship Maximus mode, too - more tucking away of robot parts, more swinging out of spaceship parts, a pointier bow, a solid thruster bank, the kind of wings that make it look like someone took a Star Destroyer and tried to build a giant G1 Cyclonus with bits of Cybertron Starscream or an X-wing thrown in, plenty of flip-out weaponry all over for play value, a head which also became a detachable upper bridge able to operate as its own ship...

It was very strange to give a brand new mold to such a visually boring figure as Maverick. Leader-1 could definitely work.

Derrick Wyatt did indeed give us an Animated Galvatron. Wholly G1 faithful, which is a bit odd for Animated. But from the proportions to the stature, I really like it.

Anything else known about the character (like was he separate from Megatron?) or is the drawing all we have?

Unless this image featured in one of the Almanacs. The drawing is all I've been able to find. But, considering Cyclonus' entry (Via TFWiki):

Cyclonus appeared out of nowhere in a storm of light and tachyons over New Kaon. As Scalpel reassembled him, he noted his immense power, that his internal chronometer was off by megacycles, that he constantly muttered about someone named "Galvatron", and that — perhaps most peculiarly of all — his sourcecode shared Starscream's "self preservation" algorithms, albeit commented out. Cyclonus soon swore allegiance to Megatron, but seemingly in the abstract

I'd say Galvatron's origins appear G1 faithful too. Which in turns of design is odd.

That is odd compared to what else Animated was doing with the characters.

Then again, Cyclonus wasn't all that different from G1. Plus, Galvatron didn't traditionally take any visual/design cues from Megatron (aside from the positioning of the arm cannon). That was a thing introduced later.
