Well, that depends on your definition of correct. Seeing as how the comic came out before the cartoon,

And the toy (which was black) existed before the comic was made.

Hmm... I thought I saw a blue version in photos or a video about Diaclone before...

And yeah I'm aware that a lot of characters had blue on them in lieu of black due to the ink used in comics back then.

It did come in blue; both black and blue in Diaclone and blue only for the US Diakron. The alternate variant was used for Transformers.

Ok I knew I saw blue Trailbreaker before the Selects reveal.

I would hope Selects would make it happen in some capacity. We are pretty close to having the full Diaclone lineup outside the combiners/insecticon teams

Thisssssss. This is the same reason Jazz and the Dinobots' heads were usually blue shaded with black and - reaching outside of Transformers - Venom used to be inked more blue than black half the time. And yet, to my knowledge, we don't have anybody arguing blue is the "correct" color for him.

I have a suspicion Hasbro chose the black deco for Trailbreaker specifically because of the abortive Diakron import line using blue. I also suspect that Diakron is responsible for the late-development change of Sideswipe to being the red New Countach LP500S and Sunstreaker to a made-up-for-Transformers yellow deco of the Countach LP500 Super Tuning.

Yellow might be a job for the Velocitron or Buzzworthy line, since we already got blue in Selects.

Got an email saying Hasbro's gonna do another Pulse Premium 10/27 reveal stream. Since last year's stream was where we saw the packaging for Black Zarak and got Lift-Ticket revealed and put up for pre-order, I figure this is potentially the most relevant thread to bring this up in (although I think best-case scenario is we get the Skyquake reveal that had to be cut from Pulsecon, which would make this the wrong thread).

I hope Magnificus is revealed during the pulse live stream.

I anticipate Minerva will officially go up.

I brought Breaker to work. He is real nice

This mold desperately needs thighs and arms filler. Those hollow bits are unsightly.

In person, maybe not. But in dynamic poses in big pictures like these, the gaps are really in-your-face.

I have all 4 of them, meaning Hoist, Trailbreaker, Lift-Ticket, and Blue Breaker. Appart Hoist who have white limbs, all of the others have the same gray I think. I already Repro'd Hoist and Trailbreaker. I'll do the other two too. So might as well getting all the fillers.

Agreed. I think people make way too much of them - even with how they look in pictures...

And yet the titchy gaps in Generations figs get fillers made for them while gaps big enough to seriously need filling get neglected, like Cybertron Optimus' leg cannons or (on a non-TF note) Titanus' tail cannons get NOTHING.... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Minor update: JTPrime now says that despite Magnificus showing up for a bit in the Target systems, he is actually the identity of that Deluxe Selects listing we have and not a separate Legacy Target exclusive, and Magnificus stock is now hitting the US ports. That probably means he's gonna be shown on 10/27 like Lift-Ticket was, or at the very least it means he's more likely compared to the other options for reveals.

Already hitting ports, I guess that means he'll be released immediately instead of put up for pre-order.

Not necessarily, if I'm remembering older JTPrime posts correctly then most of this years Selects & exclusives have hit US ports and then sat around for varying periods of time before Hasbro actually announced the figures (Velocitron Wave 1 stock started arriving in Spring, BB Silverstreak I think showed up in ports in 2021 still, Galaxy Shuttle got to ports on the last day of August, Haslab Victory Saber has apparently been on 3 shipping manifests since September thus far), which is why I gave everything a hard maybe initially.

I'll be very bummed if 1027 is just Magnificus and no Minerva

So turns out MCM London had the Magnificus reveal we were expecting all along: As well as...this, which isn't a Selects figure but I don't know where to put it:

Also according to Ben/BMac from Hasbro (by way of an @SixoTF tweet), this Prime is an all-new mold but uses the ER trailer & gun, and this is not the only time this mold will be used.
